The astronaut is super cute, and the level design is really well thought out.
The art and audio combined to form a fantastic experience. Turning on the audio improved my experience a tremendous amount and was thoroughly amusing/engaging sound-wise.

I loved it! The aesthetic and audio design were fantastic! And the title being a pun was very funny. The darkness on the later levels really encourages you to slow down and observe your environment! The only real issue I can think of would be to make the double jump smoother? Maybe give the player a second where they hover before gravity pulls you down? \__('---')__/ Anywho, absolutely loved it! Player character was very cute, loved that funky lil walk! <3
Interesting mechanic, and definitely made you take your time through it since you were so limited on jumps. Really liked the art and the music helping the decrepit/loneliness feeling of the environment
I liked the main mechanic of the game, I wish that you could run a bit faster so conserving jumps while running up ramps would be less annoying. The SFX for the jump is a bit weird personally, also the music doesn't loop if you take too long. Besides that the idea is really unique and I like the countdown thing being the jumps and not the time, good job!
Yeah, the music used to loop, but we added a new track and I guess it broke it, lol.
We didn't realize until after the original submission deadline, so it just had to stay like that.
Is what it is ¯\_ (ツ)_/¯
Such a well made game, I loved how you used the darkness in last two levels to make it harder. especially that mechanism in which if you ran out of juice you couldn't see anything.
Yeah! I'm glad it managed to read as that! I was really worried people would just think it was a bug when it went out, and not realize it was the fuel tank that was glowing.
Game was cool. Lonely spaceship vibes were well done. But I couldnt figure out how to get through level 4. Felt like was always down a jump from what I needed.
Neat idea.
I got stuck on the third level though, it seemed to me, like the jump higher couldn't be made, even from a jump pad below, oh well, maybe I'm missing something.
The only gripe I have with this one is that is very easy to miscalculate a jump or use it accidentally or simply making a mistake. And since levels are designed to always require the exact amount of jumps - you have to restart. And levels (due to their tricky design - which is great) tend to require taking the same long route each time after restart. I solved the "puzzle", but now I have to do it again and again, because I'm bad at the game :D
Overall good job, especially on level design.
Yeah, the levels can be a little tricky, haha.
3rd level should be the spring level, right?
As for the thing you might've missed...
PUZZLE SPOILERS
The fuel hub has a little ring around the number indicator, that serves as a "cooldown indicator". You CAN double jump, but the jetpack has a "cooldown" to keep it from overheating.
Oh, didn't realise I can do this!
I gave it another try, because I wanted to see more of those "tricks" in level design. This time I made it to the end. I really liked the level with those radioactive balls that you have to avoid, that was quite clever. The two dark levels were fine, but I like my levels to be visible :D
All in all - a fun experience and thank you for taking time to respond with clarifications.
Hello fellow platformer dev, this level design is great! This game feels really polished (good art, sfx, music) and was overall a great interpretation of the theme!
Neat puzzle platformer. I like that you have to think about your moves and when to use them. Good work!
Really fun mechanic for a puzzle.
Was quite satisfying stumbling upon, what felt like, a secret route.
Sound design is fantastic other than maybe the jetpack sound a little flatulent haha
Excellent idea and great pun for a title. My only gripe is it would be better to have a wider view of the level so you could puzzle out the route a but more so you don't have to restart so much.
This game surprised me to be honest. At first it seems like a simple mechanic that I have seen very often (jumping as resource). But the game design and execution is what takes this to a new level.
First I love the sound design (besides the jetpack, it sounds a little bit like the character is farting :D) the sound effects make it really immersive.
Then the level design is pretty cleaver, I love how there is often a "obvious" way and a right way. It really felt great after failing to find a alternative route that was the correct one.
And at last the atmosphere, wow! when the light got out I completely expected some monster.
This game does a lot of things right, I love it !
I accidentally restarted from main menu and rage quit, here we are
Took me a bit to get the name, lol. Good stuff. I played in a brightly lit area which unfortunately made the dark levels almost impossible to see. I appreciate the feeling, like in the barrels level, where you get to the end and realize you needed to save one more bound. That's definitely a more compelling challenge to me than navigating the dark level. Although bouncing between the mushrooms was very fun.
I'm glad you liked it! Fun fact, (and a little secret for ya) the visuals are actually almost completely unnecessary to complete that level! ;)
Cool idea.
I've only came till the second level. I just couldn't get any further. Perhaps I'm just not good enough to play it. Anyways I really liked the idea of having a limited amount of jumps per level. This creates super unique challenges. Checkpoints would have been appreciated as it is a bit tedious to always go back after retrying a level. Great game though.
It can be a little tricky, yeah. You got stuck on level 2, you said?
Try going left ;)
Hey! cool mechanic that change from the platformers where we press space without thinking :) the puzzles are really well done!
Awesome we made the same game idea haha.
So this is a instant 5/5 for creativity for sure ;)
Felt very great to play and is kinda hard, i like it a lot
