This is an amazing interpretation of the theme and an incredible execution too! I hoped there was more feedback on whether or not I got the approval / denial request correct but still it was quite fun to organize everything before starting "work". The grayed out checkboxes confused me at first since I didn't know how to check, say the weather or the maintance at the first level so I kinda just stumbled everywhere until I realised the colors are different. After finishing the game I read the descriptions and I'm glad you clarified it but still if I'm going in for a blind run I still found it slightly confusing. Though it is quite a minor issue.
The gameplay was actually really fun! Reminds me of Papers Please a lot, so nothing to say there, it's a great gameplay gimmick to use for this jam! For the artstyle and audio I love it, it's super immersive into the theme of your game!
