Combining dungeon crawling combat with math mechanics to reduce your counter to zero is such a neat concept!

Cool and simple game, although i think it lacked some instructions on whats the goal of killing the slimes and surviving different waves of them but i loved how i can use the coins to powerup my sword that is pretty neat well done.

pretty cute game. I was confused by the enemy hit animation (I thought they were dead :D )
Maby you could add a health bar for enemies.

Developer

Yeah, I was considering adding a health bar, but I had an issue with the UI getting too cluttered, though sadly.

The idea is pretty neat, just needs a better explanation!

Developer

I 100% agree

I was pretty confused to what the game means by the number when theres lots of numbers on the screen! but I found it at the end, its an alright game!

Developer(+1)

Yeah, as I have said in my other reply, I did not make the messaging clear on what the objective is and what the numbers are for.

Thanks for checking out my game, and I appreciate the feedback!

This game has quite a bit of potential. The roguelike aspects were pretty fun. I did not really understand what was going on with my number and what my objective was. Did i want to kill only the subtraction guys? Only get subtraction upgrades?

Developer

Yeah, looking back now, I realised that I did not make the messaging clear on what the objective is.

The main goal was to use minuses to lower the number that was on the left of the screen. With the idea being you can use the other numbers to help in that goal.
For example, you could chain a few times 2 to end up with a times 8 (times 2 with a times 2 to get four, then times that by two to get eight), then you could use that times 8 on a plus, then add that plus to a minus to increase how much it minuses.
