How does your game fit the theme?
The theme Count Down is reflected both mechanically and as a play on words. Daisy is a Count, and his time is constantly counting down. The timer represents both his life and the time he has to reach the next checkpoint. Mistimed attacks reduce it, while successfully protecting him restores time and keeps the Count from going down.
