Really really cool submission. It feel well balanced already and of course the art, music and vibe is great. Some better UI for the abilities would really lift the quality up, so that I don’t need to check your itch page description. Had some good fun playing it!

Thanks for playing!

This was so much fun! The art is all cute, the gameplay is fun, the concept of actively losing abilities rather than gaining them is inventive, each level felt long enough to be engaging without being overwhelming... oh! And the music gaining an extra track when in combat was genius! I loved that so much. It would have been nice to have some sort of indicator of where enemies are, as well as where enemies are going to spawn, since I got hit a couple of times just because of that. The notes were also a bit difficult to read (even if they were cute and the cutscenes were nice), and letting the player progress whenever they want rather than tying it to a set time would definitely have helped. I do also feel like the mechanic of losing powers as you go deeper could have been explained a little better, and honestly I was kind of overwhelmed by the number of options I had at the start. (Oh, and the wind powers weren't very useful during the one level they were available, so I kind of didn't even notice they were gone...) My only other complain is just that the ending was underwhelming, I loved the boss itself and its design, and the attack patterns were great (excellent choice to keep the damage low on the projectiles too), but I figured there'd be a phase 2 wheere I could start attacking back, or even a cutscene explaining how it was defeated, rather than a cut to the end. Those are really my only nitpicks though, the game was a ridiculous amount of fun and there's a crazy amount of content here for only four days! Far and away the best game I've played so far.

We’re honoured to hear it’s your favourite! A lot of what you said were ideas we had on our list but sadly couldn’t get to implementing in the time limit. Thanks for playing!

Thank you for the feedback! I'm very glad you enjoyed! ^_^

Most of the suggestions you mention are actually things we had meant to implement
(2nd phase for the moon, tutorial, arrow pointing to objective, ect.)
Unfortunately, we couldn't implement any due to time constraints. This is our first game jam (and first proper game) so we were kind of scrambling to get things done on time😅

I'm glad you enjoyed ^_^ kudos

I totally get it, my team ran into a bunch of time constraints too. Massive congratulations on doing as much as you did, this is RIDICULOUSLY impressive for a first proper game!

There are many different attacks which tripped me up at first but I loved it :)

Thank you for playing our game!

Loved the music and the art style was so cute! Great mix of abilities, liked how it all had elemental theming. Combat felt nice and responsive due to how quickly the player could move. Great job!

Thank you so much! I’m happy to hear you’ve enjoyed it so much.

This was a fun game, I appreciated how quickly I was able to move around and fight enemies. Maybe a little tutorial or something to introduce the various button and abilities the player has would be a good addition.

If we had the time thay would’ve been a great addition

This was a nice little adventure. At first I felt too overpowered, but now that I've seen the end it was a nice choice to go along the narration (which was cute by the way). But I did feel like I used the left click attack like 90% of the time while there were x8 more options at first.

You did a very good job on musics, making them adaptive was a very smart move to go along the gameplay.

And wow that final boss... I wasn't expecting that, but it was very fun.

Great job to the whole team!

I’m glad to hear that

The aesthetics are great and the adaptive music is an awesome touch! The abilities were fun but a bit confusing. The final boss was cool as well!

Thank you! I'm glad you enjoyed my music :)

The art is beautiful, though it lacks sufficient particles and effects and has some rough edges (such as the animations); the appearance of the sharks' projectiles, for instance, looks a bit odd.

I appreciate the feedback!
