thanks for playing!! yeah the game is way too hard to get into, but I'm gonna fully remake it in godot (never used it before lol)

Interesting, I have never tried gamemaker, and my current entry was made using python-arcade engine, but I tried a little godot, by fallowing brackeys Brackeys platformer tutorial on youtube and the engine was pretty nice to use. I didn't get proficient enough in godot to use it on a game jam tho :)
