Awesome artstyle! Beat the game on the easy difficulty but couldn't handle the normal one. Really liked fun dorky enemies.

hard mode in this game is absolutely brutal though, pretty much had to switch to easy just to get anywhere. it would be nice to have some audio though. but cool rpg idea and the choose your own adventure stuff is pretty fun. solid work!

A lot of fun content in this game, especially considering that no pre-made assets were used. I had a lot of fun playing this role-playing game, I loved the many choices I had about what to specialize in and what abilities to use each time in combat. A very engaging game

Finally some good RPG stuff!

The hard mode is really hard, and I wish bonus HP could be overcapped or kept in my bag in a form of a HP potion.

Yeah i was like "NEVER" but then got killed by the first incounter xD so i had to go easy and just roll through them all! good game!

I really enjoyed the game because it left room for imagination.

More to this game than meets the eye! Fun to play, didn't get through it though, but I refuse to go EZ mode ;)

Developer

Thanks! I think I got the balance wrong on this one. I'm going to rename them normal and hard when the jam is over!

I had to go for EZ mode to get anywhere, but it's a lot of fun. Can imagine it working on the watch / small screens well too. DO IT ;)

Love me some wild mushrooms! Start of something really cool if you decide to keep with it. Good work!

Enjoyed it a lot. I liked how there were right solutions for each encounter. Also the skeleton playing the xylophone got me. I died as I killed the dragon which honestly is a pretty epic way to go. Only gripe I have is that i think even if you chose the right solution there should be a chance of still getting hurt. Congrats on a solid game!

Developer

Thanks! I wasn't expecting all the skeleton love!

Good game, I had fun playing it! It would benefit from having audio, the art gives your game a lot of charm. The difficulty is a little too hard because of how little health you have and all of the encounters you get into. Can't wait to see where this goes if you continue developing it!

If you can add audio, I really want some Skeleton Xylophone audio! Who’d hurt the fellow? They even gave me some gold! It’s also impressive to see the goal is to get it on a Garmin, and even explains some of the design constraints! Good job.

Developer

Thanks! If you run from the skeleton fight when he starts playing the tune it loads the happy skeleton event. So you can hang out with him!

Nicely done! It's a bit hard, but i enjoyed it anyway!

Great, choose your own adventure! Maybe someday, I'll play it on a smartwatch lol

I liked the take on the FTL like, but could really use some audio

Hard game. Honestly keep evolving from this and you'll get yourself Oblivion/Skyrim adventure game down the line.
