The UI here is incredible. So sleek and futurey. We did not understand what we were doing half the time. But we had fun clicking frantically and trying to stop the end of the universe :)
Art's amazing.
The art design and overall UI are very well done! Theres definitely a bit of a learning curve whilst you attempt to understand the mechanics, though by no means is that a bad thing for this type of game! Very much enjoyed it!
this one is really interesting, i haven't seen paying for upgrades with time yet its pretty cool, and the whole choronovault and time slowers are really cool, i like how you can't just buy time you have to be smart about it
the audio getting increasingly more doomsdayee(idk how to say it) was super cool
my biggest issue with the game tho is lack of context, both from a story side and event side, it's a bit unclear what is happening at a glance when every event and upgrade is described with text, some symbols, icons or animations could help the player understand the game faster
on the story side at the very least it would be nice to get either some story context before the run starts or better yet just zoom out a bit and show us where we are, like a hightech computer in space or something
anyway, good work
Very cool concept for a game.
Fellow GmetaOS neighbour here. Just gotta say, wow, this is a really, really creative idea! The fact that the same currency I'm using for upgrades is the same currency that I need to maximise is really cool! It creates like a nice risk vs reward thing where the player must act smartly with their upgrades. The only criticism I can give is that this game really needs an in-game tutorial, but otherwise its reallyl realy fun!
Thanks, always nice to meet a neighbour. I had a lot of fun designing and balancing it, but yeah, I tutorial was definitely needed.
Liked the idea! Would like to have a tutorial in-game. The UI is nice, also the game is well polished! Well done!
Yeah, I realised pretty quickly that a tutorial would be needed, but just didn't have the time. The tooltip system was my compromise
Very cool!
The UI looks simple yet still super clean and polished.
Thanks, I was really happy with how it turned out
The art is super clean. The upgrades were a little confusing. But overall there's nothing i find more interesting than a super simple concept that keeps me clicking!
I really like the idea of this game. Simple but effective. It also felt well polished. Nice game!
Very interesting idea. The upgrades felt a little confusing, and an In-Game tutorial would be nice, but all around its a good game. Good Job!
Super interesting game, I really like how you interpreted the theme! The art is really clean and looks good as well, congrats!
Appreciate it, my personal constraint on this theme was "Time is your only resource". From there I developed it into a game where you have to spend time to get time.
Cool concept, I wish to see it further developed, keep it up
Yeah, I've considered how I would develop it further, but I think that it would either need to be a really long strategy game, or something like an idle game
Very nice game. Music is really good and fits in well but mabye you could add a faster/more dramtic version closer to failing.
Mabye as well add some more buffs.
Amazing game keep at it
Thanks, I chose the current "about to die" sound track because I thought it captures the solemnity of the end, a fast track didn't make sense to me.
A little more polish would benefit this game a lot, otherwise its a really fun game!
Thank you. I haven't finished many games so polish is where I am still learning
Very unique concept, I love the idea of the main currency being only obtainable by losing "hp"
Thanks, that was my main constraint when I was first brainstorming for the jam. "Your timer is your only resource"
Not a bad final product at all! It would have been great to have more visuals, but I see the vision. Some room for polish, has the potential to be a strong narrative driven piece.
Thanks, if I were a good writer, maybe I could have added more narrative
