I love this feeling! I don't know if 'area control' is the right term, but predicting the weather is a blast. I'd love to see some more variations added later on.
Glad to hear you liked it and thanks for playing all the way through, that's awesome! I definitely have some ideas on how to further expand on these mechanics but simply ran out of time during the game jam. I'll probably keep tinkering with this project for a bit to see how much more I can get added though
Cool idea! I liked the sound design! Very easy to understand how to play too! did you use perlin noise to decide what kind of weather would be at each position?
Thanks really appreciate it! Yeah I used noise to get the weather somewhat realistic (or at least better than completely random). When I put on a debug mode you can see how like weather bunches up into distinct clumps depending on the noise values at each specific tile. Took a bit of tweaking the noise frequency and other variables but pretty happy with how it turned out.

This is a very nice, cosy game that makes me want to grab a cup of tea ! The mechanics are very simple but well executed. Adding some features to spice up the game after the first levels or some sound effects when you use a bonus, could take the game to the next level.
Nice job !!

Nice job !!
Good job on the game! It was fun to find out the optimal placing of the weather vans.

Cool idea! Took a moment to realize what to do. I think the UX needs a little improvment (like city names over wether icons). But i enjoyed the experience, good contribution!
Well done! The UI saying Saturday on both days was a bit of a setback for my meteorology career. Cool idea!
Oh man I can't believe I missed that, whoops! Yeah when pressing a city the top option should be Saturday and the bottom should instead be Sunday. I went ahead and added a note to the game page to hopefully help confused people. Thanks for pointing this out!
Great interpretation of the theme. There seems to be a bug where both days are called Saturday in the UI. I had a lot of fun : Adding this game to my collection.
Nice idea! A bit confusing first but you can get it quickly. Congrats!
Really cool game, the art was really well done. Great job!
I had fun, but at some point I felt like I "solved" the game. Expanding it might be interesting tho
Dude a weather forecasting game is a great idea. I really like that idea and mechanic. I'm not gonna lie, I was a bit confused and not really sure how to play at first, and even after placing the stuff I still felt like I was kinda guessing, but it came more clear after a while. Still more accurate than my local weather people, anyway! You should flesh this out and keep working on it. Love the idea.
Thanks! Yeah totally understand that its a bit confusing at first. I was definitely struggling to properly teach the mechanics during the short time period. Was planning on making a short animation after a round to show the weather moving over the weekend so players can better understand how the weather moved but just ran out of time.
