Hello,

It's been a year and I've finally updated this game with some graphical, audio, and gameplay improvements. But most importantly: WEB BUILD is now available, so now you can play in browser!

This is a very short and simple rhythm game starring the Fab Four as you try to get a good night's sleep. Be sure to press the correct keys in time, or else...

Funny enough, though this was a one-off game, it still gets between 2-5 downloads every day, so someone out there is looking for Beatles-related horror.

If you're a fan of the Beatles, have an extra five minutes to spare, and/or looking for a quick chuckle (hopefully), check it out!

Joke's on you, I suck at platformers. No, but this is a nice game and I always dig emissive against dark contrast. Took me a bit to not get stuck but I made my way through eventually. Good work!

Nice little Slay-like game. I really liked the mixture of the prototype art with the other art. Lol, game jams will do that. I got my butt kicked by a boss (and accidentally wasted my "mana" using the curse card on myself trying to get rid of it), but it was nice little experience.

That's a pretty novel idea having the character start out stronger and then remove some of their ability in a survival game. I sucked at it, but I kept getting a few of them down pretty consistently. I think you could flesh this out into something really nice! Good work.

Honestly...they looked better when I was done with 'em anyway!

This one was super creative! Played it all the way through to the end. It'd be interesting to know what metrics the game decides "fixes" them so I know how sloppy I'm allowed to be, lol. I was frantic and accidentally took one straight to the stage without even touching it up, and though I didn't lose because of it, that one will haunt me...

I'm always down for some Beethoven, too. Great work!

Nice little game! This is the second game I've come across with a glide mechanic and it's always super satisfying. I thought the idea was original and this would make a good speedrun game for sure (as long as I'm not the one playing!) I think my poor Count will probably be drinking his blood through a straw for the rest of his days, but I had fun with this one! Keep it up.

Nice little game! Very creative. I dunno how some of you devs have the creativity and intelligence to create the puzzles for games like these...that's beyond me! Anyway, I really dug the graphics, as well. I'm a sucker for that kind of stuff. Great job and keep up the good work.

Wondering if you're interested in keeping the project going once the jam is over. The only nitpick I'd have (not complaining, just feedback to help if you keep going with it) is to rotate the pieces when clicking anywhere in the bounds of the piece...I kept not-hovering over them as I rotated them out from under my mouse.

I have to commend you for a unique idea, very refreshing! The mirror mechanic was pretty rad (I had to read the itch description to get it at first)I actually think you could take this a step further and expand on this with mystery deaths, garlic, etc, if you want to keep working on it after the Jam. Keep it up man!

Nicely done. The trick doors and moving objects make for an interesting twist. Also, the menu layout was really nice looking too (which I appreciate!) Keep up the good work.

Thanks! Yeah ngl the away got to me a bit once in a while...I'd have liked to have tuned that a bit more but with the limit to kind of just had to get it into"good enough" territory and hope for the best. If you time it juuust right it shouldn't give much a problem, tho.

I understand about the start style...I was messing around in Aseprite and discovered dithering, and once I got going not even a force of god could stop me. Just got carried away. This will forever be my, "Guess what I just discovered...?" game in regards to dithering.

This is super creative and great looking. I love the idea of having a limited amount of time to solve a murder mystery. I either suck or I just got unlucky, so I never solved it, but this idea was really refreshing to see as a game in the jam. Keep up the great work!

Pretty good start to a nice little runner. You can certainly feel the speed. Hopefully you keep it up and keep working on it after the jam is all over. My only two nitpicks (besides audio) is 1) Maybe kill the player without letting them fall for such a long time, and 2) I think the camera MIGHT need to be a bit higher....I'm on a kind of small laptop screen, but I had a tough time making out the distant terrain.

This one is terrific! Excellent work here. I think I played this one longer than any jam one I've come across so far. I love the visuals (yes, fullscreen is certainly better) and just even down to the satisfying little clicks when moving the gears. I hope you turn this into something and keep working on it! My two nitpicks which are not negative but just QOL features down the line (in my personal opinion): 1) Allow hold to move, and 2) have the level restart automatically after death after a couple of seconds (or bypass yourself with R as usual). Keep it up!

This one is great. I played this for much longer than I originally thought I would, haha. I really like the mechanics in the game and the whole idea about chaining the bombs. I'm not familiar with TOO many other games out there, so not sure if it's inspired from something, but the mechanics were new to me and a lot of fun. Trial and error sure made me feel like a fool, haha.

My only suggestion (unless I missed it) was a way to force the 10 second bomb to go off. Sometimes I'd initiate the mission and realize instantly I screwed up, and would just have to wait for the timer to be done.

This one's pretty neat. I clicked on it right away because I thought the art in the capsule was cool. I definitely like the idea of a more turn based board game like feel of this, which is something new (to me) to see in this jam. I kept getting bad rolls and dying, so if you work on this after the jam I hope you can do something with a bit more player agency for combat. Other than that, keep up the good work!

Pretty neat little game. I like the idea of having to help somebody survive before they bleed out, so props for that original idea. Those little enemy suckers took a lot of hits, though! I dig your tile set, too. Keep up the good work!

That's not bad! Yeah it can be tough. I'd have liked to have tested it more but kinda yolo'ed it because of the time limitations.

LOL this was rad. I really hope you guys try to make something out of this after the jam...flesh out the tricks or something. I really dug this concept because it was an actual jump from high into the (very agricultural-based) planet. Great job.

How did you get such  great net effect btw? Is this Unity? I was looking for a netting effect for a hockey game forever a couple years back.

Someone really needs to fire that air traffic controller, though.

This game is gorgeous. I am a sucker for pixel art styles/color palettes just like that. It took me a few tries to get the hang of what I was supposed to do, but it's a very creative loop nonetheless. Honestly though, one of my favorite so far visually. Well done!

Very cute and nice graphics. What a good way to test out this new mouse I just got, lol. I have to be honest, I don't play a lot of these so maybe I'm out of the loop, but I've never heard of a DECremental before. Great entry and keep up the good work guys.

Holy moly that gets intense lol. At first I was like alright cool, grabbin' these dudes, but after a while I was really sweating. I don't remember what level it was, but I eventually had to rage quit. Not your fault..I just suck. Very cool, though. Keep it up!

This is legitimately really cool. I don't know if the gliding mechanic was inspired by something, but it's satisfying as heck. Having the down affect your movement was a great addition as well. Some of these game jam games you can tell are one-offs but I really hope you keep working with this one after it's over. Keep it up.

Thanks for checking it out! I agree with the "early" wording . I'd clarify that if I could. It's just saying early, not "You did it wrong - you were too early!", which is confusing for sure.

Basically, when the (invisible) timer hits zero, you get attacked. On the dot. The vampires have a window before that where they expose their heart. Sometimes (usually) that window is not long enough to wait around and twitch-react to the heart popping up, so you have to aim to start drawing your weapon just before that window so that it's open when you get there. But not TOO early, or else your accuracy goes to heck.

Great job on this! Maybe I suck, but I gotta admit this was hella hard lol. Getting the parry down was the strat for me but even that first guy kicked my butt so many times. 

The game is done very well visually, though. I appreciate some good care and skill put into the presentation and menus and whatnot. As others said, it stuttered a bit on the web build but it was still playable.

Oh I see. It was just meant as a transition to get people from a mouse-hold state to a released one where they could click to shoot. I thought it felt better than just hovering over the Hold area, and the you can also bail on your countdown if you want. The gun cocking itself isn't tied to the heart spawn though.
