Fun village builder! I had so many archers the game was lagging lol
Glad you like it :DD
Amazing to get an entire rts built in this amount of time!
For the life of me I could not get my little villagers to chop trees :( I tried clicking on the houses and the villagers and the trees and everything. I am probably missing something obvious!
Thank you! You should click the house then the log icon. You can follow what villagers of that house are doing by looking for the ones highlighted in blue.
The artwork is great! great choice of the art library! Just letting you know that the audio didn't loop, so once the main background music was done it didn't repeat again. The sound effects were perfect and when I expected sound there was definitely SFX to match. Keep it up!
The audio was a last minute addition I felt was needed xD Glad you like it
It was a good and fun game. I enjoyed it, I just wish it went on for longer!
Thank you! Didn't have a lot of time to finish it the way I wanted but I'm happy with what I could do.
i really loved animations and the artwork great job!
Thanks but I didn't make them xD Credit in description.
Very cute game, the font was hard to read sometimes but I managed
Thank you! Font was a bad choice on my part :((
It's really fun, I could see this become a complete game in the future !
Glad you liked it
Really fun game! Took me a bit to figure out how to the villagers worked but it was quite fun once I did! The plot twist at the end was fun, great work!!
Thank you :D
Really cool game! Absolutely love the style, the artwork is stunning! And the controls are pretty intuitive, fun to play. Only small thing I'd say is I found the font pretty hard to read sometimes. But great work, congratulations!
Thank you so much! I'd like to clarify the artwork isn't mine it's an old asset pack here on itch linked in the description.
Oh that's cool, I also used a ton of assets, maybe one day I'll be quick enough to make art for a jam! But either way, great stuff!
It's a struggle to do all one your own idea code and draw but it can be fun! Managed to do it in the last jam but it was 1 week long so a lot more time.
The plot twist at the end!?! Fun, took me a few tries to get the hang of how villagers worked and everything but it was fun great job
Hehehe >:) I wish I had time to draw simple cutscenes but sadly I didn't. Might add them after jam.
like the music.
you can see the end of the tile map at the world border when you zoom out tho. Just a little heads up
I spent so much time doing navigation and in the end I removed it xDD should've spent more on polish.
It's a fun mini defence and city builder game that could actually be expanded on in the future :>
Thanks :D
nice little tower defense like game. Has a lot of good groundwork for something that can become more engaging. After a couple losses the winning strategy was clearly a few villagers that quickly allowed me to spawn "unlimited" amount of tower units.
With a game balance pass, a nice tutorial and some more content and this could be a fun little game.
Thank you! I tried my best to balance it with the little time I had but focused more on making it fun. Glad you liked it.
Actually good and fun game but a better tutorial to get started would have been nice.
It was a bit rushed :( I entered the game jam last 2 days but still wanted to put something in. I'll probably clean it up after the jam ends.
