How does your game fit the theme?
Our game is about fighting a sentient, evil bomb. The bomb's objective is to count down and explode, through a series of challenging rhythm based levels. The user can defuse the bomb by not making any mistakes in the rhythm puzzles. Moreover - the core mechanics are all miniature countdowns themselves. Not only did we try to make a fun rhythm game but we kept the count down theme at the core of all we did during design and development.

Very fun idea! I'm not cut for rythm game it seems, I couldn't even do the defusal with only arrows 😭 I need to try again! Good job!

Submitted

Interesting idea, I’m horrible at multitasking so this was very hard for me

Wow this game is hard! I love rythm game but having to manage the left module like Keep Talking man that got me. I could see myself playing more of this if the input was more forgiving or if the interface was a bit more controlled. otherwise it was quite fun, gg!

Developer

Thanks for the feedback! Yeah we have had a lot of comments about the difficulty, I think we made it too hard for a game jam. In an ideal world we'd make the game with more levels, and a slower difficulty arc.

Totally unsure how you're meant to use the arrow keys and the mouse at the same time?? Went better with WASD but still lol. Fun design and art!

Developer

Yeah for sure. Initially the game wasn't going to have mouse input and we kind of forgot to remove the arrow keys later on... It's still nice to have the choice.

Bro I dont have the Braincapacity to play this. Still very fun and stylized!

Developer

Hahaha yep it can be tricky that's for sure - hopefully you still enjoyed it!

Wow, that's really hard for me to play, but idea of full focus while trying to playing dance rhythm game with a lot of panels is really something. Art and music is also really good, ty, it was really nice expirience! GL!

Developer

Thanks for the great feedback!

God I loved this, absolutely excellent execution around the board! Bravo!

Developer

Wow that's such nice feedback, thanks so much! We're really glad you liked it. I'm looking forward to trying your game too!

Definitely a fun multitasking game! Definitely had my eyes dance around like a disco floor ahah. I agree with some of the other feedback that the arrow game is very difficult and should be a little more forgiving. I love the concept and this is a very well-executed and polished game. Congratulations!

Developer

Thanks so much for your feedback! Yep I agree, next year we're going to dial down the difficulty but we found when it was too easy it was boring! I'm keen to give your game a try as well :)

This game is haaaard man ! I know that’s the point and i liked most of the gizmos you have to manage but the arrows could use a bit more of forgiveness (or maybe i just suck at this who knows) !

Developer

Haha thanks for your feedback, yeah we definitely didn't make it easy! Like I've mentioned to others I'd suggest playing around with the lane controls in the options menu, I found 'Lanes' to be the easiest - let me know how you go with that setting instead.

I had ridiculous amounts of fun with this- really cool game and a unique approach with fantastic audio (the narration is a personal highlight) quite difficult but that's a bonus for me.

59.8 when the bomb explode was the best I could do :D But great game and visuals :)

It's a fun game and the art style is pretty good, but I felt it was too fast. I don't have this kind of reflex.

A bit too much too fast for me but I suck at rhythm games.

Developer

Haha yep it's definitely frustrating at times! Thanks for the feedback
