wow
Super cute game.
It just so good overall.
Well done guys :)
This was one of my favourite jam entries so far. Everything feels incredibly polished, from the visuals and audio to the gameplay itself. It’s hard to believe this was made in such a short time. Great work
Each individual aspect of the game is strong. And it is the overall cohesion that really makes it outstanding! How the music and gameplay affect one another is probably a reflection of the team members collaborating behind it. Thank you for this entry. Good luck in the voting.
UPDATE Maybe one thing to improve in the future is to have a satisfying conclusion to the story - it would be nice to see all the NPCs springing back to work and moving around. Seeing the impact of having taken care of the tower.
This is beautiful
The soundtrack and art are phenomenal !
I can wrap my head around the level of polish this has for a 4 day jam.
Absolutely beautiful game with gorgeous art and soundtracks. The game feel is well polished with strong visual and audio feedback when performing task and hitting rats. The final boss fight is hectic and fun. This is truly a masterpiece. And all the more impressive that this was created in just four days!
This is polished experience. I can see the team work put into this to tie all the parts together. I really really enjoyed this game! I feel very inspired and will definately keep coming back to play it more since i couldn't get to on my first 10 tries lol.
10/10 art, just amazing music and wonderful game play! I really loved this one, thank you!
Wonderfully compelling, and polished. A masterwork given the timeframe. Nice one guys!
Really liekd how the game looks and feels, the sense of going up and down in the clock tower got me so stressed, really liek the whole art and soudn direction
Hopeful to see a full release
Probably the first time I've seen a " making of " segment in a game jam game lol. Definitely cool to see what your process was like. I'm going to get into it later in this review, but I think having the boss was the right call, and I kinda wish the game had more segments like that.
But before any critiques, I just want to say that this was honestly a damn cool jam entry with phenomenal presentation all around. The atmosphere was on point and the visuals, while soft like that of a children's story book, still had a pretty mysterious vibe to them. This feeling is especially accentuated when you add the little segments of voice acting and the overall sound design as well. Seriously, kudos to your artists ( both visual and audio artists )
The gameplay of needing to manage the clock tower definitely kept me on my toes. I liked how frantic things were and that there was a decent variety to the minigames. However, I think some of the minigames were slightly undercooked to the point that they got a little monotonous, that and they all kinda just got repetitive in general since my strategy never really changed for any of them. The one which definitely comes to my mind is the pipe minigame. It felt like it was basically the same puzzle layout again and again with next to no variation. This definitely made it stand out in a comparatively bad way as opposed to say the gear and vent puzzles, both of which atleast had a decent amount of variation to their layouts.
Even though that feeling of monotony was present, I will definitely say that I did like the strategy of needing to decide which puzzle you'd do to ensure the most amount of time gained and least amount of time spent. That was pretty fun to balance. And it's here that I go back to the bossfight. The rat king definitely hammered this aspect home pretty well. Needing to attack him while also deciding which minigame to do and balance everything was really fun and a solid climax to the game. ( The art for the rat king was also incredible oof )
All in all, I'd say you guys definitely made a damn good game here. Kudos to the entire team
The game was a masterpiece. The gameplay loop, the music, sounds effects, story, and boss at the end tied it together perfectly! Well done!
Very nice game. I loved the artwork and narrative. Super talented team!
The art and sound were amazing, and of course, it was very polished too
Very nice game. I loved the artwork and narrative. Super talented team!
Cute, crazy polished for a jam game.
The art and music are charming
This game is amazing! The art style, music, and overall atmosphere are so polished, especially for a game jam. It really feels like a complete world. The only thing I felt was that some mechanics could use a bit more depth, but overall a fantastic experience. Great work!
the art is outstanding! everything from the colour palette to the textures, this is just such a pretty game to look at! i think the 'countdown' theme is also nailed, just 10's across the board, well done :)
