I really quite like the atmosphere of this game, the art and the sounds really add to the experience !! I liked it :D
I really like the narrative and artstlye! The take on the theme was also really good, I enjoyed learning as I went through the levels and i'm definitely going to give hardcore mode a try!
Awesome work!
I think I may have broken hardcore mode right before release, it may not be possible currently. I'm glad you had fun!
Great narrative experience! The art, sound, and design are extremely cohesive. The gameplay is a little light, but I think that’s okay in an experience like this, and I kept waiting to see what would happen next. Fantastic jam submission! 🔥
I love the narrative aspect of the game. Art, lighting and audio made it so much immersive. I really enjoyed playing it and absolutely loved the artstyle. Great job!
The atmosphere in this one was just fantastic! Definitely a cut above most horror games I see in game jams. The story was also surprisingly engaging, and the last level really hits hard. The gameplay could maybe stand to be a bit more original, but this game delivered so well in every other respect that it doesn't really hurt the experience. Nice work!
The game feels really polished, and I like the atmosphere that comes from the art and the audio. The speech bubbles are a nice touch too, and you can really feel the sense of horror! I just wish I hadn't played so many "the timer is counting down" games in a row. XD
haha we tried to distinguish our counter by linking it to steps and attacks not time, but we probably could've expanded on that a bit more to set ourselves apart... thank u for the nice comment i put a lot of effort into the art ^_^ !!
Super cool to see the direction you’ve taken for this interpretation of the theme. The visuals really sell the atmosphere and I could feel the terror when the townspeople appeared from nowhere. I found that the countdown was perhaps a bit too easy to empty, but maybe that’s just a skill issue. Great job regardless.
Amazed by how polished the art and sound is and it also has cut scenes?? This is awesome. One thing I could point out, it would be nice if there was a confirmation before skipping them!
I remember your Vampire hunter game from last year, this was an excellent continuation of that!
I found the heartbeat was an especially effective way to create tension. That mixed with the fantastic art, fog and other sfx made for a wonderfully horrific experience (in a good way I promise!)
YOOOO its awesome to see the same person again!!! im glad u found our game horrific ^_^
That's so awesome you've played both!! I'm so happy!
Interesting game! I did like the graphics, story and gameplay, though it sometimes felt like the arrow of where to go was obscured by the UI. I also initially didn’t move my cursor and was extremely confused why the character only faced on way haha ^^ The game is kinda stressful with giving you little time between levels, but overall it’s a fun one!
Another fellow vampire game! its so good to see one. very very exceptional narrative, I think the art/aesthetic fits very well. very fun very good! Great game!
vampire game makers unite 🤝 also i love ur pfp thats a goat
Really cool game! The mechanics aren't too complex, but the story works really well. I love the way that the final level transitions into another story cutscene.
By the way, make sure to mark your build as "Windows" in your game settings so that people can play it from the Itch app!
Thanks!
