I like this concept, it's a good design that the fight is controlled only by four action.

The fight is good, I was hooked by visuals and animations. The sound is good feedback during the fight.

I would love to keep the "sign" of attack for all enemies because it's pretty hard to react so fast to their movement. In first fight (tutorial) it was really good to keep up.

Congratulations on your submission!

well the control were a bit weird and stop at times but it was great idea ,just a bit missing polish, GG

This is a pretty unique entry, both in terms of art direction and even more the gameplay. I've enjoyed it, the difficulty did spike dramatically from a walk in a park #1 opponent to getting my ass handed to me by #2 :D

Even though the controls are a bit janky and the timings are hard to get, I had a lot of fun beating up these 4 boxers! I liked learning all their different patterns. Would be nice to have some combos even really simple ones and a voice doing the K.O countdown. Great job!

Cool concept. I like games like punchout :). The controls could use some work. I kept freezing up mid fight.  Overall, good job :D

Thanks for the comment! Would you be willing to give me some more details about the controls freezing? There is a mechanic to dodge to the correct side during an incoming punch to get energy back. We have an update in mind where the coach will give you hints each time you go down or maybe even during the match, in case this is not picked up by the player.

I love a punchout game, here's a playtest @00:20:14

Thanks for playing! The live stream really helps capturing the experience from the player. I wrote down most of the points you said. My summary of it is, also based on the gameplay:
 - The animations/indications can be communicated more clearly or be more exaggerated. It gives improved feedback to the player and makes the game more satisfying. I also noticed that the enemy blocking versus not blocking is difficult to spot. Note that the dodge is instant when you press the button, but the animation could reflect this more.
 - We are thinking about a hint system, where your coach will give you some hints if certain buttons or mechanics are not used for a while. So the player has time to figure out everything, which is satisfying, but if something is missed, a hint can give a direction towards what to do.

yeah the hint system sounds nice!

Nice, this is interesting. Sadly, my game kept getting frozen on the middle of the match

Thanks for your comment! Would you be willing to give some more details about when the game freezes for you? Does it seem at random? Or maybe when one of the health bars becomes zero? Or anything else happening? And was it against any fighter (if you played more than one)? That helps us investigate in more detail where the issue might be. Thanks in advance!

It took me a while to figure out the recharge mechanic.

Interesting concept

Very unique submission, the gameplay was solid and I enjoyed the presentation of it as well!

Horror and Boxing are two words I would never  expect to put into the same sentence. The atmosphere for this game is really sweet and I was expecting to be jump scared at some point during my fights. I did find that I was only able to use block like once during the first round and then I couldn't use it for the rest of my time during the game.

Interesting game. Love the art style.
