Hey that was a lot of fun. I thought it was cool you added the game data options too.
Thanks for the comment. I did try to prevent unforeseen problems with player config data or if the player wants to wipe their high-score. I found that during my days with Unity, a player attempting to load PlayerPrefs after a version change would sometimes crash the game if we had changed or added a config option.
cute and fun, I appreciated the "next item to steal" arrow a lot, would have been waaay more annoying without it, good call!
Thanks for your comment. It was there early on, my teammate Rioni is a smartie for adding that feature. Further, I'll tell you something, in the debug build he also added a cheat: press Space to instantly teleport to the next item. 😮
Fun game, the art is great.
lol fun little concept, though the pets didn't really cause me that much trouble like I was expecting? But yeah, was cute, and I ended up playing it for longer than I was planning to :3
Hi, thanks for the feedback. We're going to tune the enemy difficulty in v1.1 after the Jam. Probably a difficulty toggle that lets the game remain a chill experience for players who desire it.
This is honestly such a good game. The concept seems simple but the way you delivered it was so awesome. You should absolutely keep working on this because I see so much potential! I'm a new game developer (this my first game jam), and I aspire to be able to create something like this one day. Thank you for this awesome experience. (Game did not fully fit on my screen but that's all good. Was still able to play it just fine)
Thanks for your kind words! The more time you do gameddev the easier and faster it gets as you develop a library of assets, just keep at it!
Could you please tell us your monitor resolution and browser? Also, what do you mean that it doesn't fit? It overffows the window? I'd really appreciate if you can share a screenshot so we can diagnose the issue for the post jam version.
Cheers!
I liked this game. It's fun, the concept is great and overall very well-made !
Great tutorial and controls, it's a fun game. But there doesn't seem to be a reason to stay too long on a level, I only played to 3rd level and then the bandit got me
Thanks for your feedback. Tweaks to the gameplay loop is something we would like to look at for a post-Jam version.
Really fun game! The tutorial was very well thought out and I really like the run mechanic. The game didn't fit on the screen though which made it hard
Thank you for your comment. So that we can fix this after the Jam, do you mind replying back with the device/browser you tried playing on?
Sure! I'm playing on mac and firefox
