At first, I didn’t really understand how it fit the theme, but after reading your interpretation, I was impressed. The controls are quite challenging, though—it would have been really helpful to include a tutorial.
Thank you, I'm delighted you were impressed by my interpretation! I sadly didn't budget my time well for a proper tutorial, but I'll need to tweak the difficulty anyway so I should be able to address it if I pursue this concept further (which I do want to since I already had a lot of ideas for it that were too big for the jam) ^^
I know how is it hard to make a game about planes, so good job! I will recomend you to do a bigger speed for roll and pitch, this way it is better for player.
Thank you so much, feels great to hear from someone else who tried a plane game! I definitely will consider that when I tweak the controls after the voting period ends!
Like the idea you came up with! Had some issues with the controls at first and I had to press Shift all the time to be able to aim at the other planes. Had to close the game through task manager after death. Anyway, nice first game :)
Thank you! Yeeeah, I definitely will eliminate the need to press shift since it really does seem like it just wants to be on all the time lol And yeah, I realized too late that I put the quit function in the wrong place to work properly after death >.< lol
Unfortunately cant play this game because of error below
"d3d11-compatible gpu is required to run the engine "
Very sorry for both the late reply and the fact that you're having that error >,<;
Unforunately, I think it might be a problem with your machine/drivers (you should be able to google some kind of fix for it since it's a common problem to run into even with games that used to work)
Interesting take on the theme :D, the contorls are a little hard but I got them after a while!
I'm glad you were able to pick them up despite the game's difficulty being a poorly tuned! lol
