I really like the visuals here! The gameplay elements could be improved to feel better to play. Good game!

Solved the case and I really enjoyed the game! I love that u can travel back to different moments before the murder took place. I'd love to see more mechanics that build on this idea and fit the game. Tragic story... poor Catriona. :<

Really interesting concept! Going back and forth across time to solve a murder is very interesting, but I feel like it doesn't exactly connect to the theme. The art direction perfectly suited the game itself- (side note, what lunatic has that many copies of Saturn Devouring His Son hung up in their study?!) and I really appreciated the feel and vibe of the game. I wish the mystery had been a bit more in depth! I ended up solving it pretty fast and didn't end up brute forcing much, and I also wish we'd gotten to see a bit more play out about the story itself, since it seemed quite interesting. I did really enjoy it, though!

The style looks really good and fits the game perfectly. It was also fun to play.

Really nice game, although going back in time does not exactly fit the theme, since there where only 2 different options to go back to, but I racked my brain hard on the puzzle and really enjoyed solving it. Very creative idea!!!

Really enjoyed this! I'm a sucker for narrative deduction games like The Case of the Golden Idol. The art style really suits the classic 'murder at a mansion dinner party' setting.

It took me a while to notice people had letters on them I had to click. Once I had those, solving the case was really easy. Like others have said, you can easily brute force it because it tells you if each new word is correct or not. I'd suggest locking it in only when at least three entries are right, or give vague hints such as "2 answers are incorrect" like The Case of the Golden Idol does.

A valiant effort for only 4 days! Definitely unique in all the jam games I've played. I'm glad someone made a game like this.

Interesting Idea, and creative execution, thanks for sharing

Game is visually great and has a nice mechanic with the time travel and a detective like feel. My one piece of advice would be to either not have a counter /12 for how many you have right because once you interact with all of the things around you can just guess and check (so I agree with Onocentaur) and look at the counter. Otherwise it was a fun game and had really great art and models.

I solved the case.  The time travel mechanic was neat, I bet you could do a lot with that in subsequent versions.

Because the journal told me how many I had correct, the end became a bit of a guess-and-check game.  Might consider a different way of confirming when answers are correct to avoid random guessing.
