It was an interesting concept! The game itself was quite enjoyable to play, the music and the UI felt very on point aswell!

I usually don't rate games without a web build since it is a little inconvenient, but I made an exception since you rated my game and we did very similar things. So I just had to see what you came up with!

I'll start with the worst thing, which I think is movement. I actually quite liked the scrap physics pulling you around, I think you did a very nice job with that. I think it however conflicts with the combat/enemy projectiles, I feel like I want to be able to react quickly and dodge things, but the ship just won't let me. And in turn it makes me quite nervous to "risk" any more expedition time. Your game can probably go either way but personally I liked the scrap collection part more than the bullet dodging part. Some simple ideas I can think of would be swapping rockets and lasers for slower and more environmental hazards, could give more time to react and feel better. Or perhaps just reducing the frequency/speed of the projectiles, or boosting the ship speed (seems you have tried that based on another comment).

Almost everything other than the movement/enemy stuff I mentioned was actually VERY well done, art was REALLY good in most places, I especially liked that thruster effect and the beams for the scrap. The upgrades I found didn't seem all that helpful other than ship speed and carry capacity but I liked the inclusion of the upgrades still it really fits with the "scrap collection" theme.

Overall great job on the game, I liked it a lot!

Cool concept for a game.  I would have liked to see the ships that fight as well, not just their projectiles.

I think your ship could also have been faster, its a bit slow to control well.

The art was nice as well, I enjoyed it.

Thanks for playing!

While slower ship speed made more sense for the setting, after testing the speed increase (and game rebalancing, accaunting for that) the game does actualy feel more fun to play.

Thanks again for the feedback!

Great! Took a bit of experimentation to figure out but this one is fun, challenging, and I'm always a sucker for the crunchy, aliased visual style.
