A simple but very interesting game. The gameplay is straightforward and easy to understand, and I think that simplicity helps keep the focus on what the game is trying to convey.
My interpretation was that the machines are being fueled by human creativity, serving as a metaphor for the use of AI. I’m not sure if that was the intended message, but if it was, I think it’s a very clever idea. The environment also complements that concept really well and helps reinforce the overall atmosphere.
I really enjoyed both the gameplay and the visual style. I think this game is a great example that a game doesn’t have to be mechanically complex to be engaging or memorable; sometimes a well-executed idea is far more impactful.
