This is a pretty creative game, the fact that there is no instructions is more rewarding the moment we understand by ourself!
I got to level 8 and it was getting faster and faster :D very fun game maybe add some more juice when picking up the cards and putting them, with more oomph on the sound, but I enjoyed it very much!
A tutorial is probably needed because it took a while to understand the game but once I did it was fun
the idea is good! could use a little tutorial at the start
This is an incredibly fun concept! I also like the possibly not intended mechanic where if I hold a number with my mouse I could prevent that number from ticking down which opens some possibility for strategies. It would be so amazing if there were modifiers and more to spice the game up. I would really love to see this idea being expanded on in the future!
I was thinking about adding modifiers and stuff, but when playing I realized it would be really hard to pay attention to it. Ideally you would have like 3-4 numbers counting down at once you have to keep track of, adding modifiers and stuff would add a lot of mental load, and you're on a constant timer. I think there are probably ways to make it work, but I also only had one day to make this game (since I missed the first 2.5 days of the jam). Thanks for playing.
This is a smart idea! Numberphiles will definitely enjoy this. Everything is minimalist and to the point!
wow idea is great. spend much time playing this game. To be honest, I didn't notice whether the counting speeds up over time, but it would have been a good idea, since you start to get bored after a while.
The counting does speed up over time. I guess I made it too slow. It speeds up every time you level up. In the beginning it's a lot easier to set up combos.
This was actually such a creative use of the theme. Took me a second to get what I was doing but once I did, there was a surprising amount of strategy here with not just trying to plan for the number you needed but also for the future ones. I also love the element of dragging the p to play, essentially teaching and confirming that you know how to play in one mechanic. Nice job!
Really enjoyed this game! Simple in concept, but found managing and planning the different countdowns to be a fun loop. Nice work!
Needs a bit of explanation in the beginning, but once you get hang of it, it becomes pretty easy. Great job man!
interesting! i had a pretty difficult time figuring things out, definitely a tooltip, or somewhere in the description where it describes how to play. this is really creative tho!
Good idea! I'm wondering if the numbers could automatically restart from 0 to 9 instead of having to click them to fresh them? Maybe a second H too? In any way, good job :)
There is a second Hold actually, you just have to grab one of the numbers and not put it anywhere since whatever you're holding doesn't tick down.
