Good to know about the space key! That would definitely help. If I ever forget anything in the game I usually toss it in the game's description because I have definitely forgotten to put things in regarding certain controls before. Something ominous in the holes would definitely help, or some form of small visual hint that it goes downward.

Thanks for playing! I'm glad you liked it :D

I'm glad you liked it! The idea of putting your stores at risk is definitely an interesting one. We didn't end up considering it but having a building that maybe dings your resources every time a fire burns through could have been a good addition but like you said, it would probably be a high risk of causing ragequitting. Something we could think about finding a right balance for though.

Thanks for playing anyways! I know there can be quite a lot of fires towards the end.

Really cool take on the theme and you executed it well! The only feedback I thought up was pretty minor things like the menu animation is cool but does feel a bit rough when it plays a second time such as when you get back from the how to play section. I also was a bit confused on how to set the time I was guessing at first, I didn't realize I had to drag on the clock. But I figured it out pretty quickly and it was pretty fun. You did an excellent job of making it feel great when you manage to pull off a perfect guess. Nicely done!

I'm glad you liked it! Sorry about the slow speed, probably a bit too much on that side. But glad it created a level of tension to the gameplay and that you liked the overall visuals. :D

I'm glad you liked it! We wanted to add an element with the fires to give players something that required them to actively do something to keep things running smoothly. We were hoping to get a tech tree in like you managed for your game but ended up running short on time haha, so I guess maybe that's the trade-off with taking the time to add the tutorial tips.

Neat take on the theme! You made a pretty massive level for how short the time frame was. I also loved the perch mechanic, it was a neat way to get more time to look around. I wasn't sure how to beat the game since I made it to over 200k flaps/50k heartbeats and made it around the whole map without anything happening but it was good fun exploring for the sake of it. I do wish the mouse cursor was confined to the game window as it kept going outside the window and I would have to click back in to keep going but that was a minor thing. Overall solid entry to the jam so nice job!

Really great visuals and the core gameplay idea was really unique! Such a good use of the theme. I ended up getting stuck at the elevator puzzle, because no matter where I rotated it to it would never let the cursor past it. I also found the cursor would slide while trying to interact with stuff which made the puzzles a bit more uncomfortable but it didn't get too in the way. Overall, really solid concept and you executed it well given how short the jam was. Nicely done!

I'm glad you liked the pacing! We had hoped having the chance of fires go up as time went on would make for a more fun experience so glad that paid off. Definitely appreciate the feedback on the ships too, we probably should increase the acceleration on them a little bit so they start moving faster.

I'm glad you liked it!

Thanks! :)

I love the artwork! The minigames were a bit simple and the game was over quick, but I just love the aesthetic so much. Nicely done!

Really unique take on the theme! I had a weird bug the first time I tried where A was move down and S was move side, I have no idea how that happened. But I reloaded and then the correct WASD controls were right and that made it much easier to get through the levels. The concept of everything having a different movement countdown made for some fun puzzles. The artwork and audio also play together so well. Great job!

I'm glad you liked it! :D

I'm sorry to hear the fullscreen didn't work! Not sure why that happened, its worked on every browser I've tried but must have missed one. Glad you liked what you were able to see though!

Really solid take on the theme and a unique setting! The game was a bit brutally difficult at first to me but once you get going, it starts to get into a solid rhythm. Quite impressive how much you got in here for such a short jam too. All around excellent game!

I'm a sucker for survivorlikes so I had to try this one. It felt a tad easy at first and then got really hard pretty quickly. The idea of having every ability be a bomb that you can see where it is going to hit ahead of time is neat. It adds a level of strategy to your movement more than just avoidance. The visuals were really charming too. Nicely done!

Neat concept and I liked the overall look and sound of the game. The narrative was pretty funny too. I just couldn't figure out how to beat it, because I got the necklace, scarf, and flowers but nothing happened when I interacted with her. Unless I needed to do anything with the hotdog person? But interacting with them always got me stuck in the corner until the game ended.

Hilarious idea and all around solid artwork! I'll admit the game was real confusing though as I couldn't figure out how to get more oxygen and I didn't see anything in the description about how to do it, so I never made it past 10 seconds or so.

We ended up with somewhat similar ideas, so really neat to see how someone else went with it! Really solid, I enjoyed slamming down buildings everywhere and managed to max out the tech tree. If anything it was maybe a bit short but it also didn't overstay its welcome so that might have been perfect. Nice job!

Definitely not the take I expected on the theme, but hilarious. Went all in within 5 seconds on the Miami Yeet and won big. 10/10 lmao

I love the art and the music you went with was a good combination. I struggled with the controls quite a bit, especially with the horse. I ended up abandoning the horse entirely because I couldn't get it to go anywhere. Otherwise it was fun running around and the art made it a fun stroll around.

Really solid for a first game jam, nicely done! The two different drinks made for a good variety of minigames. Spacing out the customers was a good idea too, kept me on my toes.

This game was a real treat! The diorama art style was fantastic and the characters were presented well. The gameplay itself was fun, particularly when you got to combining two characters. I did find the stun system a bit confusing but only a little. Overall really well done and loved the game!

Really neat idea! Trying to race the timer each turn made for a much more engaging turn based game. Especially when it came to trying to thread in looting and healing before killing an enemy. All around solid entry, really enjoyed playing through it.

Very solid aesthetic and quite an interesting take on the theme! I didn't really understand what I was supposed to do though so didn't get very far.

Very solid hotline miami-like. The movement and gunplay felt smooth. The visuals were a bit rough at times, especially the intro and then the holes in levels. If you got a version of the level with black and white floors, the holes blended in a bit too much. Plus being the same color as the walls did not make them stand out as instant kills so much. I wish there was a reply button that did not require sitting through the whole credits, especially when you died by falling down a hole. That said, the game was definitely fun so nicely done!

Good use of the theme and the core loop was pretty fun! My biggest feedback would be that the typing minigame was a bit frustrating, since it would always tell you what you needed to type a short delay afterwards so I would check, see one word, go and try typing it in and get a fail message. Then I would go back and the word would have changed. It also took me awhile to figure out how to do it, it would be nice if I didn't have to click into the top part of the screen especially since the mouse over icon was so small. But otherwise the other minigames were solid and trying to balance them all was fun albeit stressful.

Charming story and a solid amount of narrative for such a short time. The aiming was definitely a bit rough and I lost more than one run to my character not hitting a target that I thought I had lined up so that was a bit frustrating. But otherwise it was a sad but touching story so you did a good job of presenting that. Nicely done!

Really neat puzzle game and a creative use of the theme in multiple ways. You did a great job of slowly layering mechanics as you go too. Nicely done!

I love the aesthetic here. The combination of the art and music was great. The idea of platforms and objects doing different things on a count down was also really neat. Unfortunately I wasn't able to get too far because I had constant crashes,, sometimes when jumping and sometimes when hitting spikes. The hit boxes of the spikes also hit quite a bit higher than it looked like they would so that caught me off guard. That said, the game is really a visual treat so you all did a wonderful job with nailing the look and feel!

Creative use of the theme and I liked the art style you went with! The audio was a solid backing to the game too. My biggest feedback would be that the movement speed was quite slow and when you go through a transition area, it is really hard to follow what is happening when the camera seems to be jerking back and forth from the old location to the new one. But otherwise it was fun to play so well done!

Really neat take on the theme! I also loved the aesthetic, the audio and art style worked really well together. It took a minute to figure out exactly how everything worked and I found the single player mode pretty easy once I did. But I could definitely see how this could end up being pretty fun in multiplayer. Nice job!

Interesting use of the theme! I found the controls a bit wonky though. It would be nice if objects were highlighted when you selected them and the gaps are so small that you had to get the boxes perfect for them to drop into the slot. I also kinda wish the camera would rotate automatically rather than having to hold right mouse button but that was a small thing. I also noticed the restart level/return to menu buttons didn't work in the tutorial. That said, quite a lot of content you got in for such a short jam so nicely done!

Solid use of the theme and the time manipulation ability was really cool! I did find it a tad difficult and it was hard to understand what I was doing wrong and why everything sped up so much after pressing the button. But still good fun and you executed the time ability really well.

Neat concept! It definitely could use more of a tutorial as what to do with the mail is really not clear. An office mailbox slot or something would help but I did eventually figure it out. Otherwise, funny use of the theme and was fun running around trying to figure out what to do and where to go.

Neat concept and I really liked the colorful visuals. Most of the movement felt very good but I did find the camera wobble a little hard to work with, especially when sprinting. But otherwise pretty fun. Great job!

I'm glad you liked it! Also glad the balance felt right, we didn't have nearly as much time to play with the numbers as we were hoping so I'm happy we still ended up on a happy medium.

Thanks! :D
