Reminded me a bit of doodle jump - but so much harder. I had fun with this. Though sometimes it did feel like depending on what platforms were generated at the start, it was a lot more difficult to get going. But once you do get going it feel pretty good! Over all this was a great game for the game jam.

I can definitely see the comparison to Doodle Jump. I'm glad you had fun even if its hard. Seems I tend to make my jam games too hard, though it was intentional with this one since I wanted to encourage replayability. Thanks for the feedback!

Really smart use of the theme! Was getting anxious when the number on the tiles reduced and I have no more tiles to jump on to hahhaha, good job!

Developer

Haha, glad I could get that kind of reaction. One of those games where one little slip-up and its game over. Thanks for trying it out!

The visuals and the audio are really good. The idea is also really unique, I like the countdown being on the tiles. The gameplay is a bit rough, personally the character moves too fast up and down and you don't have time to process the tiles numbers. Besides that I think the idea has a lot of potential and the artstyle is really consistent, you have a really good template here. Good luck!

Thanks for trying the game! I was worried about the character moving too fast so I tried reducing gravity but I should have tweaked the movement a bit more. I guess I got too used to it during playtesting. Thanks for the feedback!

Very nice game, I like how polished it feels, e.g., how I see where my last personal best is +1
I would wish to see a bit more on the top of the screen though, because my jump height is such that I pretty much can jump directly into enemies that I cannot see coming when making big jumps. Otherwise, great job

Developer

Thanks for playing the game! I'm glad you liked it. I was worried about the jumping into enemies thing so I had added a brief timer where they can't hurt you immediately after appearing on screen. However, I may have made the timer too short. I think it's about half a second where they can't hurt you after appearing on screen.

This could be well suited for a mobile game, make the width a bit smaller and the height bigger, it reminded me a bit about an upgraded doodle jump xD

Developer

I was kinda thinking the same thing. I think it could work as a mobile game! Though it might be a bit tricky to be precise with movements with touch controls. That'd be my main concern.

Very fun fast paced game. The music is upbeat and intense and I really enjoyed the more open levels that I could really fly thorough. Great Game.

Thanks for trying it out! I'm glad you liked it!

I played this for quite a while, it's fun!

The different pattern make for a nice variety and the record keeping gives a good incentive to continue playing.

A slightly more precise fall would be nice so you can aim which block to land on more easily would have been nice.

Developer(+1)

I'm glad you liked the randomization and the record keeping. I'm happy to hear you enjoyed it enough to keep playing! Thanks for trying it out!

Fun game! Reminds me of icy tower

Developer

Thanks! I never played Icy Tower and had to look it up, but I can see the resemblance! Thanks for trying out the game!
