very interesting

I normally can't stand platformers but this was really enjoyable! Only having to worry about left or right made it much more palatable and there was a clear sense of progression.

Excellent jam entry :)

Whoa the breakcore kicks in. The art is cool, looks hand drawn!

Nice artwork

I died a few times, but once I got the hang of it, I managed a really good run! The art style is super unique, and I don't think I've seen anything quite like it in this game jam. It gives the game a lot of personality and makes it very memorable. Great job!

cool artstyle! the controls were a bit difficult at first due to the floatyness but a very cool interpretation of the theme!

This is very neat! Really cool artstyle too!! Nice little game :)

That drop though.

Very unique art-style with gameplay that would both fit right in as a wario ware microgame !

Great work :)

Amazing word play, I also am quite a fan of gothic themes so this really hit a nice spot.
The gameplay was surprisingly fun I did say "One more" then proceeded to play even more after my "last one".
While I love the amen break usage I think it needs to still follow some of the original rhythm like having the snare on the 2-4 and keeping a semi "consistant" beat.
The organ and choir with the flanger was really nice in keeping the gothic theme!
There were times where the game was "impossible" and I couldn't get to any location but even with that I still kept playing more and more.
Keep up the good work!

My first idea was vampire related too! Haha great work!

An artistic masterpiece. It feels like Nintendo DS Homebrew you would whack onto a flashcart for a flight or something!

Nice twist on the theme! A literal interpretation of the words.

I wish it was quicker to get back into the game play after losing. I like the sound effect on the menu when you enter the game, but having a faster "restart after death" would have made it easier to keep playing. The animation of the bricks flying off the tower was also a little distracting.

I really like the art! Especially of the count.

I'm not sure dashing ever really made sense to use since I more often thank not flew out of control straight into a stake.

I assume the aspect ratio is so it works on mobile? If it does work on mobile (I'm playing on a desktop), hats off to you as that's really cool and accessible. But if the screen was wider I think it would be easier to use the horizontal dash since there would have been more leeway.

I'm too skillissued to get far i guesss. Sometimes feels a bit unfar as the only platforms are where the wood thingies spawn so you just die
