As a fan of Neon White, I like what you’re going for here. A fleshed out version of the cube aesthetic floating in the sky would look really cool.

I won’t repeat other people’s comments about difficulty, but I also think having a mouse sensitivity slider in mouse-based camera games is really important. I probably could have finished the first level but it’s too hard to aim with my mouse and I don’t have an easy way to adjust that.

I saw that you usually make story-based games, so great work in attempting a very different genre!

Thank you so much! I wish I could've added a bit of settings - especially becauss of situations like these, but because of IRL events I just didn't have time - anyways, thank you regardless!

level 1 is a bit TOO HARD imo

Developer(+1)

Yeah it is... I made the starting difficulty too high and I didn't playtest it much

Really like the sound design and the aesthetic of the game. The idea behind the gameplay is cool, however I think that the platforming is a bit janky. Impressive for 4 days though!

Thank you!

I usually don't play any shooters so I struggled with the controls a bit. Still I enjoyed the game and  I like the mechanic that shots fired also reduce you time ^^

Thank you!

Very nice! Does have a bit of a difficulty curve, and it can feel really hard to know why things are happening or you're getting hit. But that's Jam Jank I guess haha

Developer

Yeah you're right, thanks anyways!

Overall, I liked the game...

It's a bit to difficult in the sense that I'm not experienced in the 3d fps genre (so take it with a grain of salt), but had a nice ish experience... even if I was falling constantly, and had to take a bit to aim causing me to get more damage than intended, or missing my jumps or not using enough and I was really never able to bit level 1

The concept is nice, the audio with the starting trill with the ambience was a nice tough, and the fx was nice, with the islands... having that aesthetic...

I wished though I could see more of the game, but I don't think I would be able to get pass level 1...

Yeah, I didn't have much time to tackle balancing - so some levels can be easier while others can be significantly harder. I might've bumped the difficulty too much

Honestly the game might get easier as the level go on - some abilities are very helpful especially if you have to take your time with your aim
I appreciate it regardless, thank you!

Love the surrealism! Though enemies hitting you are unindicated and falling is too punishing

I had bullet tracers planned - but I unfortunately didn't get to it.
I also wanted to test that you are reset to the start of the level or to a nearby place with a time penalty - but again, I didn't get to it.
Thank you anyways!
