How does your game fit the theme?
Lift Off! fits this year's theme because the game count downs the number of actions the player has remaining in each level, leading to a clever puzzle platformer.

Nice simple game

Super great way to use the count down theme. Didn't quite understand what the first level wanted, but after that it was a blast!

This game takes the "countdown of actions" concept and applies it pretty nicely. The art and audio having a space theme is a nice touch, although the I think the sfx could be quieter and the music louder.

Great game, finished the whole game. I like the limited move concept, also there are so many levels I didn't expected this game to have so many levels :) I also made a game about rockets, I hope you check it out.

I'll be sure to give it a play. Thanks for the feedback.

It’s very challenging for me, but the level design is so great that I kept on trying.

Gotta say, I was confused at first and got stuck a few times, but it was an interesting concept.  Like a platformer combined with a puzzle game and it was kind of addicting once I got the hang of it.

This game definitely applies the theme much smoother and in a more fun way than most of the other games. Good work!

I really liked how you applied 'countdown' concept into your move. Also the move of the rocket when it places itself on the launchpad was smooth and nice. The sfx felt a bit sharp? Other than that everything was nice. Great work!

Loved the energy = movement mechanic. Art-wise I think the rocket and general aesthetic were great, though I think it could have a bit more polish (during a game jam, in this economy??) on the rocks and background to bridge the gap between "this is all I can do" and "this is how I want it to look", if that makes sense. But I think the rocket and the thrust especially show that you have that skill! Also I don't remember seeing an indicator of which level I was on, so that would be a good addition. Honestly fun game, nice job!

Such cute art. I thought it would be a standard action economy game, but I liked how keeping a button pressed counts towards the same original button expense. Its a really satisfying thing to see the spaceship fly. Thanks for sharing the game :) (Would love it if you could try my game too)

Love everything about this game. It is very fun and creative

Great theme interpretation! I loved the animations of the rocket ship "walking" and blasting around as I collected batteries! The puzzles were sometimes tricky to figure out but I was eventually able to solve them through some trial and error. This really was quite the precision platformer as you navigated through the green batteries and avoided the red ones. I really enjoyed the take off animation every time too. Great work!
