How does your game fit the theme?
In Time to Impact, the player is ordered to perform artillery strikes closer and closer to themselves, "counting down" the distance. There are timed segments of the game, and a timer prominently featured showing the titular time to impact. There is also a character named Count Down.

Whoa, I am obsessed with this game! The entire visual package—environment modeling, lighting, rendering, all of it—is absolutely stunning, and you nailed that oppressive, heavy atmosphere. Even without much explicit backstory yet, I can still pick up on that grim wartime tension you’ve woven into every detail.

I’d love to see you flesh out the backstory in future updates—leaning harder into horror/war themes would fit the tone perfectly. With a full narrative, this could easily become a standout indie horror gem or a super compelling narrative-driven experience. It’s already so captivating as-is, but once you polish up the story? You have to send this to youtubers who cover this niche—they will absolutely eat it up!

This is seriously slept on so far—probably because the subject matter is a bit niche—but the quality here is through the roof. Totally deserves way more eyes on it!

That's a clever setup, combining many mini games into a fun and immersive experience

It's a beautifully crafted game with a very high level of completion. It's clear that you are a very skilled and experienced team. Looking forward to your future work!

The entire aesthetic was very cohesive! I do wish it would ramp up in difficulty a bit more quickly (the first few shots were a little boring). This is a game i could see really being a banger with some more fleshed out story!

Thanks for the feedback! One of the hardest parts of these games is balancing it so many different types of players can play, in the past we've made the start too hard and people have quit before it starts. It can definitely use some more balancing though!

Yeah there is no right answer hahaha! Overall it was a great experience though. Thanks for making it!

This was a really fun game. I love the aesthetic. It was brilliant how you used the lighting to slowly reveale each machine as it becomes relevant. The processes to do each step are also fun and well done. It's criminal that this has so few plays.

Really cool game. Count Down being a duck was a little too silly for me given the rest of the game, but he does fit the theme! I would have liked a more central view of the gun on the monitor as you're rotating, but I'm sure that's a style choice to have it off to the side. It's great operating the big machine, the kind of soviet-era mechanical vibe. Graphics fit well, audio is great. It has what felt like a really good tutorial, most games (including mine) just have a bit of text to explain what to do (if you're lucky), but this had full steps for each thing, building up each mechanic of the game. Really well done.

Count Down was actually a tie in from one of our abandoned ideas brainstorming for the jam. In that idea, you would control Count Down, a duck managing a duck county, where you would collect down from your citizens in a Untitled Goose Game / city builder way. It is a little silly, but we felt like we couldn’t leave the pun on the table. Thanks for the kind words!

Last thing I expected to say this jam is that controlling a state of the art artillery gun is an incredibly zen-y experience but here we are. Truly one of the most unique experiences I've had this jam and maybe ever. The only nitpick I have is that I wish events didn't interrupt the feed of the strike for the extra satisfaction but the way they are not act as pseudo mini-jumpscares that hit different but are still great in their own way and it's honestly a nitpick because I can hardly think of any issues. The ratings for this being so low is absolutely criminal, this is the kind of dope stuff I expect to be FEATURED.

This is such a fantastic and unique game in the jam, literally have not played anything like it and it is a really fun play.

I loved almost every mechanic and don't really have anything to give feedback on really. Everything from the Art to the Story, to the gameplay was done really nicely. And it is amazingly polished to boot. The gameplay itself was really fun, and immersive as well. I loved the different types of things that we had to do, and slowly learning how to do them. I think the only thing I would have to say about the gameplay is that the loading shells could use a better tutorial as I was too stupid to read the text above it. but that's a me thing not a game thing.

Honestly you can even add co-op and give roles and that would be nice as well. Or an endless mode too.

The game could also use a save feature, I would really like to jump back to the point I was. Or atleast skip most of the tutorial. And maybe for tutorial you could use indicators for the places to go.

Apart from all that, it is visually a unique and nice looking art style as well. And the Sound design is done really well with all the SFX going on, they all feel distinct.

It is just a job well done.

P.S. I found a bug, or something. To do with the Fire Extinguisher, I am unable to let go of it sometimes.

Thanks for all of the feedback! Given more time all of those ideas you've listed were definitely on the todo list.
That last bug you mentioned isn't a bug its a feature! But for real, my fault for making the fires too small. The Fire Extinguisher gets taken away when all fires go away and some of the fires get hidden in objects until they grow.

Thank you for all the kind words! As said before, those all were on our list of things to do, but while we were pulling an all-nighter to submit the game, we were mostly focused on getting it done, haha.

I mainly worked on the audio, so I’m glad you pointed it out. I used FMOD to layer a bunch of different samples together with reverb and EQ, and had things like the decryption radio change parameters of the sound depending on how close you were to the right waveform. I tried to make as many things make a sound as possible, so I’m happy the overall mix felt distinct to you.

Wow! Loved the game! Played it to completion - that last one was tough! Great fun! Reminded me of Iron Nest (in all the best ways)

The visuals are amazing and its a very unique concept for a game! Great work!

The graphics and gameplay are nice, and it’s similar to PVKK in concept, but the game is still cool
