Honestly, the game kinda becomes a spamfest when it hits the second level...
The second level only has tight corridors, and the projectiles of the cats ricochet off walls, so it's basically impossible to dodge them if you try fighting face to face. Therefore, the best you can do is just spamming your gift boxes that also ricochet from the last corridor, hoping it hits something.
If this is exactly your intention, honestly this is fine. It isn't completely risk free since the enemy projectiles could also ricochet towards the player (or just straight up phasing through thin walls). Some confirmation that I am actually hitting things instead of shooting at air or dead corpse would be nice. I think a simple hit sound would be good enough.
Also, the doors weigh like a ton for me for some reasons. I have to shoot them dozens of times to make them open enough for me to walk through.
