Hey everyone!

I'm the solo developer behind Glitcher: Orbs of Nibiru, a 2D Metroidvania inspired by Castlevania, Metroid, and classic fighting games.

The project is coming together well, but I'd love some help refining one area: the player run animation and movement feel.

Right now I'm looking for someone who enjoys character controllers and animation polish. Specifically:

  • Making the run cycle feel smoother and more responsive
  • Improving acceleration and deceleration
  • Better foot placement and leg movement
  • More natural cape and coat motion
  • Stronger weight and momentum while running
  • Maintaining tight, responsive combat controls

The game is built in JavaScript/HTML5 Canvas (with a future Unity port planned),

any sprite packs or anyone quickly able to add this ill pay

This post would benefit from you posting some footage of the character controller as is, or even better, a demo scene where people could control the character to get a better understanding of the movement details that feel that bit off.

sorry about that just posted a small clip. lmk if that works
