This was really stylish! The chess/skull-map setup made the whole game feel cooler and bigger than I expected. I liked how every choice feels important, which fits the countdown theme really well. The dark fantasy look is clean too, not messy or overdone.
Also the title is just SO good lol. It made the game stick in my head immediately. I liked how the whole thing feels serious but still very readable. Very memorable game!
