Loved the tile sounds as ceramics clanged together. So satisfying. I enjoyed the game overall, but one thing that would improve it I think would be to highlight the tile that is selected (or make it more noticable). So many times I'd go to select a tile, forgetting that I already had one selected and I'd move it instead of selecting a different one and I'd need to restart.
Such a cool game idea with such good audio design, and such a cool visual look! It took me a few minutes to actually fully understand the game, but that was less your fault than it was me neglecting to read the tutorial and fully looking at the UI. Though an indicator scale of which tile is worth how much might be helpful! I really liked the puzzle, good job!
Interesting! Could you elaborate a bit more of what you mean by an indicator scale for the tile value? That sounds like a cool idea :) We also plan to update the tutorial after the jam to make it more digestible and integrated into the levels. Thanks for playing!
I had nothing particular in mind, but I was wishing to have a visual reminder in the levels which tile was worth how much in relationship to the other tiles. Given that there weren't that many levels it wasn't super hard to keep track, but maybe just being able to open a cheat sheet to see something like "pink tile < brown tile < ...", or hovering over them giving an indicator of worth. Maybe I also didint notice something like this already being in the game, too?
We don't currently have something like that in the game, but that definitely sounds like a good thing to add! I think that would definitely help with keeping track of the tile values. Thanks for the feedback :)
I liked the art style and vibe. The puzzles were well thought out too. I had a little trouble figuring out the movement system, mainly deselecting tiles, but other than that, great work
Thanks for playing! We will be updating the movement after the jam since a lot of people had the same issue of accidentally moving tiles. I added that feature in near the end of the jam and didn't have enough time to fully playtest it haha.
well polished little puzzle game. the presentation is very impressive, the sfx, music, and artwork are all beautiful and make for a fun experience
Thank you! :) We are very proud of the visual style
this was very elegant and well thought out! i think having the option to automatically deselect tiles after each move would be nice for trigger-happy players (like me) who are prone to make accidental moves. otherwise, beautiful game and great entry!
Yes I definitely agree with you, after the jam we want to remove that feature from the movement. You are not alone in making accidental moves haha. Thank you so much for playing!
