Very good pixelart. It feels like the game is so rich, too. The only thing that felt missing to me was music.
I liked the stardew valley vibes! Also, great work on the art!!
woah can't believe this was done in 4 days! awesome job on the visuals, this has so much potential!!:))
That was an enjoyable experience. Felt like a nice and intuitive escape quest. Encountered a bug where in the right room of keycard corridor when I tried to move to breakable box character disappeared and by the look of light effect was out of bounds behind room walls. Tried to move out, even broke the box while being beyond walls, but could not find a spot to get away and had to reload. Outside of that little problem had a fun time and beat the game. You did a great job!
Thanks! We'll look into that bug.
That's a pretty massive map and a lot of sprites for a 4 day jam. Really impressive.
Thank you!
Super atmospheric game, and the progression of items you need to continue felt really intuitive. The level design was just confusing enough to make me feel disconcerted but not totally lost. Really impressed with the amount of sprites needed, the environments all looked really good!
Thanks, Bootle!
The atmosphere is absolutely the strongest part of this game. Every room feels distinct, and the combination of the art and audio kept me exploring just to see what was around the next corner. Super impressive for only four days!
The music, sound effects and art are all so cohesive and eerie, they create such a good atmosphere to the game. I'm really impressed by how large of a map you've seemed to make in such a short amount of time. Such a cool game, great work!
In a stairwell on the way down, after interacting with a machine, a bug appeared saying that it was missing a save.lua file, so I couldn't continue moving. The atmosphere was really eerie, and the breathing sound in the background music was very scary.
Ah thank you! Thanks for the bug report.
Thank you as well for making such a wonderful game!
Love the atmosphere of this game!
This has so much polish and detail, I can't believe this was done on such a short time limit! It didn't just feel like a fetch quest either since finding items goes along with exploration, and the art and design of rooms is phenomenal. (How the heck did you make so much art?!! And it's so good?! I'm in awe.) The map was super handy too. I did encounter one bug when I went into one of the rooms it teleported me up/out of the map (I might've also been swinging the weapon? I forget.) Great game, I would be excited to play again if there are any future plans for it.
Aaah I'm the artist, thank you so much!! The art took a couple all nighters and working on it non stop for all 4 days so I'm really glad you enjoyed it. We had a lot of fun making it too, hopefully more to come from us one day. And thanks for the bug note, helpful to know!
Love the art and sound. I'm getting that warm hit of nostalgia for Earthbound and Eastward. Great job!
oh wow, this is really stunning! I can't believe how expansive the map is and how visually coherent everything is. the vibe that the game gives off is that it's really had a lot of thought put into it. I spent half an hour looking through and I'm sure there's plenty that I missed. very very strong feelings of being in the backrooms.
it's really stunning to see what you did in only 4 days i really liked the atmosphere and the art in general just one thing i got stuck at the area where you take the stairs how do i get out ??
Thank you! There are a few areas with stairs, could you post a screenshot or tell me which level you're on?
