I really liked it! Simple concept, simple mechanics, but very engaging. Really easy to understand, and pretty clever: the timer doesn't make you feel rushed, so it ends up being a pretty chill and cute game. The art is also on point, and the audio is pretty good! Good job!
Well done on the design front. The higher valued nuts on the outer rim definitely kept me engaged and trying to get better in game to reach them

Very satisfying gameplay loop! I think having the squirrel automatically pick up acorns of higher value and stash the acorns you collected when time runs out was a great touch! Awesome work!

It has a countdown, but it doesn't make you feel rushed; you have time to collect enough acorns to buy upgrades and then go into hibernation. It's a really cool and super cute game. Nice job!

Love it! Simple concept very well executed, it really does feel like the only enemy you have is the countdown which is so on theme and I felt great for making it to the last day with enough acorns!

I think the gameplay loop is pretty solid here and the upgrades work well! The only thing I will note is that the upgrade for increasing the time in the day seems a bit overpowered, at least with the current cost increases for it seeming pretty lenient as I got done 3-4 days early. Regardless, I liked this game quite a bit!
I had a playtester who really struggled and the change to make buying more time cheaper was one of the last balance changes I made. In hindsight I think I overcorrected, as several people have pointed out the same issue. Live and learn! I'm glad it didn't detract from your enjoyment, and if you want to up the challenge, try to get all the acorns - I put an easter egg in for getting them all that I don't think anyone else but me has achieved yet!

I really enjoyed it. As soon as the first day finished and I saw you could buy the abilities, it felt like a good classic flash games from around 2005ish (minus the copyrighted music and gore). The abilities feel quite good (and feel like updates)
