Hey samthefireball, glad to see you're still interested in the game!
It's currently on hold as another project is under development (steam store page & demo soon).
I plan to resume development on Nitecyte after that's done, at which point speed should pick up incredibly as a proper development team is put together instead of just myself going about figuring everything out.
Might not be the news you hoped to hear, but Nitecyte will definitely release at some point, and the project currently taking priority is helping set up and figure out workflows and new techniques that will help development of not just Nitecyte but also future projects!
