Summarize your game!
Recollect is a memory puzzle on a hex grid completely covered by three-cell pieces, each a solid color. Every cell starts hidden. Tap to reveal a cell, then keep tapping cells of the same piece until it's whole — finish one, and your next tap starts another. Tap the wrong piece, and what you've built comes apart.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
You begin each board holding its full value — one dollar per cell — and every tap is deducted from that bank. Uncovering the grid is literally spending it down.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?

Fun game!
Post-jam I would suggest getting rid of the dollar bank. I would want to see a high score when I play well, rather than a money amount going down when I mess up. Score feels more thematic.
Excellent entry. I can see this being a very good browser or mobile game with some more polishing.
The play sections are short enough you will want to do one more run. The music is very satisfying as well as the sound effects. the visuals are simple, but in this kind of game, I think it helps a lot.
The only thing I believe may be needed is a medium difficulty as a step up, os some "pity system" on the hard version, and maybe some more layouts for the board (it is currently fine, but I wonder if some more complex shapes would change the difficulty). Really like it, good job!
Nice game! I like the clean visuals and how smoothly everything works. The jump from easy to hard is pretty daunting...a medium difficulty would maybe help to players to be able to keep playing without getting frustrated too quickly.
Thank you. I agree that hard on a large grid is quite challenging, but on a small grid I don’t think it is that much of a step up. I would consider that a de facto “medium” level.
Good point...I went back to try small grid on hard and for me though, the difference between easy and hard on the small grid was negligible. Something between the small and large size may be a good bridge.
Custom grid shapes would be fun!
Thanks for making your game! I enjoyed it.
You win. I’m going to add a medium size. Big thanks for your feedback.
Cool! Looking forward to trying it out one day.
Medium size is in. Thanks again.
Also, most times when I'd flip over two of the same color, my next tap, they would flip over
You are conflating “piece” with “cell”. A piece is made of three cells.
