been said plenty before in this thread but im a sucker for warmth mechanics. really grabs players by the lapels and thrusts them into your setting (along with the prose, of course.)
also worth noting that not only is the map layout here very well designed, but its done with a sort of confident ease that i aspire to. everything clicks into place seamlessly
