Hey! I’ve just released my first game! Astracadia, a small, simple and chill incremental game about scanning strange planets and slowly building your own galaxy.

Keep the planets you like, add them to your system and let them generate Stardust while you’re away, then use it to search for something rarer.

What do you actually do?

  • Scan for procedurally generated planets
  • Collect and name your favourites
  • Place them in your own star system for passive Stardust
  • Scrap or sell planets in the online market
  • Spend it trying to find rarer and stranger worlds

Recently changed

  • Planets rotate and feel much more alive
  • Planets visually develop while kept in your System
  • Better orbit spacing and fewer overlapping planets
  • New Ambient Mode for leaving your galaxy open with the music
  • More planet types
  • Improved Archive tools
  • Better passive Stardust reports
  • Quite a few bug fixes

Play Astracadia free in your browser

If you try it, I’d genuinely like to know which planet you end up keeping, if you enjoy the game, and general feedback.

Nice art! I just keep any planet I got. However, I felt that the game was impossible to play for longer than 5 minutes. There is not enough things to do yet, except leave and wait for Stardust. I would suggest making stardust collection 60-100x faster. The new account restrictions are too much with the market. Other than that, the music and rest of the game is good.
