Having some experience with the 2023 movie that features this mythical creature I had something to imagine while reading the text. For content, Lair of the Wurdulac is a good first draft with a pretty unique approach to encounter design and crucially, asks quite a bit of roleplay from players.
My favorite bit is the blended real world and dungeon map on spread 2.
I didn't know there was a movie of that name! I'll have to check it out. I appreciate the comments. I really wanted to dial in the 'one-page' dungeon aspect. You're correct in that it asks a lot of RP and emergent play. Shouldn't be too tough for a one-shot, though! Just have fun! Thanks for recognizing the use of real art and layer map.
