I played this game and I have some critiques.

Note that I have never played 5 nights at Freddys. I do enjoy the horror genres tho and have no problems with jumpscares.

  • The general SFX is fine but the sound of the computer panel opening was very harsh! Plus the buttons all open on hover.
  • Please make the buttons clickable instead of open on hover. Feels quite odd. This will also make the mobile experience much better.
  • I tried to mute the game but then a lot of the game does rely on sounds
  • I did try on phone but the sound of voice over was very low so decided to continue on pc instead.
  • The voice over is quite nice but definitely needs to be louder.

I tried playing custom night and that’s where I learnt how to deal with monsters. But I eventually had to stop just because of that computer sound. It is genuinely loud and grating and makes the experience not fun.

The graphics and art seems fine.

Thanks so much for taking the time to play and write all of this out! I really appreciate the detailed feedback.

After reading your comment, I went back and tested the game again, and I noticed the issues you pointed out almost immediately—especially the computer sound effect and the voice-over volume. I'll definitely be adjusting those.

The buttons opening on hover was actually an intentional choice since it's common in FNAF, but I can definitely see how it feels unusual, especially for people who haven't played those games and on mobile devices. I'll give that some more thought as I continue improving the game.

Thanks again for the feedback and for the encouragement! It really helps.
