That's fair, the Adventure is what's between the start point and the encounter, and I don't think I can push you to an adventure, you decide why you want to go there
Maybe you want to protect your island from this guy.
Maybe you want the riches.
Maybe you want his power.
That's up to you, I present you this guy and why maybe he does what he does, I present you with where you may find him. The in-between is your responsibility within your group and character development.
