What a delightfully beautiful horror scenario! Simple but deep enough for a night of fright. All NPCs are so gameable with only one line of description, which takes mad skill to write. My friend catsumu (who made When the Earth Sang Fire - be sure to check it out!) pointed out that the visual design is cute because the pages look see-through like the ink bleeds deep, and I agree!
