How much big is the book? Are we talking about 200 pages like BitD?

Hey Andrea! Flesh & Metal is a very condensed Forged in the Dark game at 40 pages (41 if you include the cover page), as opposed to my other FitD game A Nocturne which is around that ~200ish range. The challenge I set myself was to try and make a FitD game as tight and low-page-count as possible while still being standalone, including all the bells and whistles of factions, etc. Being familiar with Blades fundamentals definitely helps though.
