Hello! I'm looking to be part of a team to build RPG games.

My experience in game development is the building of rpg dynamics on my free time with both Unreal and Unity.

What can I bring to your project is robust development expertise from a code point of view, on my daily life I work as software architect and delivery manager, I like to build not only the logic of games but I also enjoy creating tools to make game creation  smoother.

As an engineer I'm not afraid to work with unknown engines, so if you think that my expertise can contribute to create something  feel free to contact me.

I'm looking for the experience to work with variety of people not only from the coding side, but also with people with other profiles, because game development is a wonderful mix of people with different talents trying to build something, and after trying to make games on my own and studied in my free time other skills like 3D modeling,  game design or Houdini, I always thought that would be nice to share time with people that has a common goal.

There is an African proverb that says if you want to go fast, go alone, but if you want to go far,  go together. And that is  what I'm looking for.

Hi Jordi — your post reads like exactly the kind of collaborator I've been hoping to find, so let me pitch you the project honestly.

I'm Brandon, founder of The Aberrant Raven, a small indie studio building **Contentment** — a narrative two-world adventure game in **Unreal Engine 5.7**. The wake world is a near-future medical drama following a nurse practitioner in an ICU as a new drug fractures society; the dream world is a full JRPG layer with turn-based combat (ATP gauge system, skill trees for a six-member party, social-deduction puzzle encounters). The two worlds are mechanically coupled — what happens in one bleeds into the other. Six chapters, story-first, systems-heavy.

Where it actually stands (since you'll rightly want proof this is real): playable-in-editor with live quest/task systems, a rebuilt third-person camera system, custom input contexts, Git source control on an 855-file baseline, and a maintained technical design bible with a formal scoped-handoff protocol for contributors. The full battle system is designed and documented, entering implementation now. We're on a two-year plan targeting a demo at Steam Next Fest, and the timeline is deliberately calibrated so no collaborator's hours are load-bearing — you'd be accelerating, never carrying.

Given your RPG-dynamics background and that you enjoy building tools to smooth game creation, there's a lot here that would fit: combat implementation, data-driven task/quest tooling, and editor utilities are all live workstreams.

This is a passion/hobby collaboration at present — credited, with terms discussed openly and honestly up front. If that sounds interesting, add me on Discord: **theaberrantraven** — happy to show you the project in detail there.

Either way, good luck with the search — your post was one of the most substantive on this board.

Hi! Looks interesting, I sent you a friend request on discord, and thank you very much for taking the time to give me the details of the project!

Thank you all for contacting me, I sent all of you a friend request. Before making a decision I would like to hear something more about the projects of Inter778 and Drunken_gaming. Related to your project theaberrantraven mostly I have an idea and I really like the project maturity, let's keep in touch.

After talking with all, in case I decide a project (and if it's okey for you to accept me in the team) I will contact to all of you to let you know the decision I made. And again thank you very much for contacting me.

Hey! I’m working on a Pokémon fangame that I want to turn into a huge project. We’re just starting — we don’t even have Pallet Town fully finished yet — and we’re looking for friendly people who’d like to help out. If you want to chat, you can reach me on Discord: Mniszunio
