Hello Baldi's Fun New School series players, and welcome to this special post for the 5 year anniversary of Baldi's Fun New School Remastered!
As part of the celebration of 5 years of BFNS Remastered (can you believe it's been around for half a decade already?!?), I'll be going through the development history of Version 1.0, and include links below to videos in the version history retrospective series! Without further ado, let's get started!
Version 1.0 Development History
- June 2021 (Planning Stage) - Baldi's Fun New School Remastered Is Conceptualized.
- June 7th (Planning Stage) - The Logo For Baldi's Fun New School Remastered Is Revealed.
- June 12th (Pre-Alpha Stage) - First Public Development Look (Via This Livestream At The End Of It).
- June 18th (Pre-Alpha Stage) - The Ruler And Quarter Animations For Baldi Are Finished.
- July 5th (Pre-Alpha Stage) - Balloons Are Implemented.
- July 9th (Pre-Alpha Stage) - The Unfinished Demo's Development Build Is Compiled.
- July 10th (Alpha Stage) - Alpha Version 0.7.3's Development Build Is Compiled.
- July 11th (Alpha Stage) - Alpha Version 0.7.5 & 0.7.6's Development Builds Are Compiled On The Same Day.
- July 22nd (Beta Stage) - Beta Version 0.8's Development Build Is Compiled
- July 30th (Pre-Release Stage) - Version 1.0's Demo Is Compiled For Testers.
- August 1st (Pre-Release Stage) - The Official Trailer For Baldi's Fun New School Remastered Is Released.
- August 5th, 2021 (Release Stage) - Version 1.0 Is Released To The Public!

Conclusion
With Baldi's Fun New School Remastered turning 5 this year, I want to thank everyone who made the creation of BFNS Remastered possible, gave me the motivation to create it in the first place following the positive feedback on earlier entries in the series, and improve it over many updates with all of the suggestions, feedback, and fan arts over the ~1.5 years from 2021 to 2023 the mod was actively being worked on and received updates.
Enjoy the anniversary, and if everything goes well, Baldi's Fun New School Remastered 2 might be released in time for the 6th anniversary on August 5th, 2027, but given Baldi's Fun New School Ultimate's Beta 1 update is being delayed into 2027 since it needs more time to be completed and ensure it will be a quality release, the sequel might not actually come out until the 7th anniversary of Remastered on August 5th, 2028, although these plans are subject to change.
Anyways, happy 5th anniversary, Baldi's Fun New School Remastered, and while you are partying, don't forget to pay a visit to the Discussion Area between now and August 12th to see party hats on other players in the area, which happens every year!
