Summarize your game!
Mechanics:
1. You have 5 spots for units. You can put your units on the unoccupied spots, and they will attack / perform other actions.
2. Each turn you can sacrifice a unit to gain +1 mana and +1 max mana (which gets restored each turn).
You can play against 3 different enemies using 3 different decks of cards, each victory giving you a new card.
After 3 victories, you will return to the selection screen (ran out of enemies)
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The main mechanic of the game is the card sacrifice - you have to burn the cards to advance and get more mana.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
No

Very fun prototype! With sound effects and more visual feedback this could be a blast.
The gameplay feels very intuitive, as soon as you find the burn pile and see the mana. And the art is very nice.
I'd like to see the ability to move a card in play to a free slot, maybe for 1 mana. Maybe just for the player.
The game seems to bug out and crash if you continue playing after being booted back to the menu after beating 3 enemies. It was offering me a new card every turn and then threw a Javascript error.
Thank you so much, I'm glad you liked it!!
Never encountered that bug before, have to look into it. Thank you for telling about it!
