Summarize your game!
a village deep in the woods is struggling to survive by maintaining the needed resources to maintain a happy community. The reason for this struggle? The landscape itself is an eldritch horror that can only be fertile by the blood of the villagers that inhabit it. You must delegate the villagers to work the four locations in the village and gather resources while having to regularly cycle one villager per round as the sacrifice that is the cost to keep the land from taking back the fruit the villagers desperately need. What is the reason for staying? perhaps one day a curse breaker may stumble into the village and return the land to a state that which no one else may suffer this fate.
Please explain how your game fits the theme.
The theme "cost of progress" is represented in our game through the narrative of sacrifice as the cost in order to bring progress through the breaking of the curse. In gameplay, the fail state occurs when the cost is not satisfied for too long and the player fails to progress to longer round counts.
Did you use Generative AI to make any assets in your game?
