When I saw that I could invite Astrid, I started clapping for joy.

Hello there,
is not about hurting anyone's feelings, is about being respectful, after you badmouth there is no point in keep reading any message you had sent. Criticizing in a respectful way the work through the user's own opinions and understanding is fine, that's why so many other comments about not liking the new visuals or others about dates and still present.
Anyways, ban again, but I guess if you are going to continue joining through different accounts to keep trying to be "harsh" or badmouth users and the dev... I guess you DO have a lot of free time that could be used to do something else to better yourself.
Good luck out there.
Who do, what now?
Horse's mouth:

Unfortunately same goes for itch:
The main sticky thread “Planned Features and Content” has over 2,000 replies. In sampled portions, the vast majority of suggestions are for more scenes, characters, routes, events, threesomes/sharing, pregnancy, outfits, galleries, specific character content (Anna, River, Charlotte, etc.), QoL... Explicit animation requests are a small minority (roughly ~5% or less in the visible samples)
This is just a sad nature of the situation, not enough people asked for them early on in the project.
I would not worry too much though, animations will come after 2.0, they will just come in the form of unofficial community mods...
Only from the modding community.. only hand outs we will get from Kal are animations in mini games.
However... I will bring up again Anna was supposed to get a version of Alice's dance mini game!!!
Then again Anna was also supposed to get an additional love/slut evolution and a tablet... But we still left here hanging 😭
I want to add my two cents to the debate here. I've been reading through several comments and the diverse opinions, both good and bad, and that's completely normal to see. Whether you call it porn or a game, it's a development project that takes quality seriously. You might laugh and call me a snob, but in hentai/porn games there are different genres — in this case, it's a dating sim, so its logic and story revolve partly around the narrative and partly around the porn. What helps the story is immersion; what helps the porn is the CGI, the animations, and THE STORY THAT IMMERSES YOU IN THAT REALITY. That's why if you want to build an addictive game that helps your audience have a good time or at least escape from their reality for a few minutes, the core substance is immersion across multiple categories: scenario, script, effects, etc.
Porn also contributes, but it depends more on each person's fetish. However, if the immersion and scenarios connect well with the porn, it doesn't matter if you're not into a specific fetish — it'll still entertain you.
I hope the game's team continues taking it seriously, and if it takes 10 years or more like GTA 6, then so be it — way better than those quick, rush-developed porn games. I'd also recommend the dev team add more easter eggs; they really add value to the game. But try to give the easter eggs more meaning — the ones already there do have it, but I think it could be improved a little more. I'm not entirely sure how, but I'll leave that thought with you.
By the way, I've played I think one of every version (can't remember which), but the audio bugs out when you disable it — the music turns back on by itself. They could give the music a bit more love; it's not bad, but it's also a point that could be improved.
I don't know what philosophy you have regarding UX or settings, but I'd recommend giving it some attention at least. I understand the game is still in development and you're probably saving UX and settings improvements for the final stages, but the UX could use some love. Driving around in the car sometimes feels like a deliberate obstacle, and the settings are sometimes inaccessible because of the map — like when you want to turn off the music or press one of those buttons at the top.
Characters romanced or befriended throughout the game can be invited to move in, resulting in over 1,000 unique combination variations featuring custom dialogue and slides. (Do have in mind is not a just anyone with anyone).
This alone must be the things that pushback the schedule so far. well, not complaining tho, it's a free game, and if 1.9 satisfy me, ill make sure to support you guys from steam. 70% progress huh, seems like it won't release in a month or two. i'll be waiting patiently and stay healthy and safe you devs.
I’ve been thinking recently and wondering: why not make StarMaker Story a paid project? The quality, scope, and depth are far superior to other paid games in the same genre available on Steam or itch.io. It seems to me that if the project were paid, it would generate excellent returns, and along with that, the motivation to further develop this universe and invest more time into it — since it has so much potential. And as shown by previous updates, there’s clearly a point in continuing to support the game, because every update generates incredible buzz. In the long run, this could be a goldmine. So why not do it? Anyway, I really like the project, and I’ll definitely buy the Steam version to support the author.
The main reason Starmaker Story stays free is that it’s not the primary project. Kal’s main priority (and what the rest of the Arvus Games team is focused on) is Roundscape Eclipse, which is the paid title. Starmaker is a solo side project Kal makes in his spare time. It exists to fill the gap while people wait for Roundscape, and it also doubles as a useful sandbox where he can test Unity features and mechanics that might later get carried over into the main game.
Starmaker itself is planned to wrap up in two more content releases (1.9 and 2.0, not counting the Steam version). Throwing money at it right now and bringing extra people onto the team would actually slow things down more than help, because of the onboarding and training time required.
If the Steam release does well, there’s a possibility of a Starmaker spin-off about six months later, but it’s equally possible Kal might decide to revisit an Arenus remake or jump into something completely different instead.
Any proper funded/expanded version of Starmaker would have to wait until Roundscape Eclipse is finished (Act 1 this year, then two more Acts after that). By that point the community (and Kal) might want something else entirely.
It's way too early to speak about spin-offs or future plans when 1.9 isn't even out yet. Spreading rumors and guesses about future updates only causes unnecessary confusion and overhype. At this point, no one even knows the release dates, nor if Kal will continue with the franchise once 2.0 is done, given his expressed interest in returning to his main project
Hello there,
is actual information (except the time frame since we've only advised there will be a break period in which there won't be any side project work, but we don't specify time). There will be a rest period once Starmake is done with the steam release, after this period the next side project will be announced, one of the possibilities is a Starmaker Spin-Off, it wouldn't be with the same cast nor at the same place... so completely different cast and location. Then again, this is only 1 of multiple ideas for a side project.
Personally, I like how the game portrays the characters’ promiscuity—it’s more realistic XD. Some behaviors make sense—for example, having a lot of money, seeking approval, feeling famous and promiscuous, being unfaithful, polygamy—and possible scenarios based on each character’s personality. Narratively (and not in a cinematic way, but more like a book), the way they handle the characters’ personalities and scenes carries a lot of weight, I like it better than the fantasy stories we’re used to.
Typical girl stuff, lots of inevitable outbursts of anger—damn those moments when the main character's friend acts all real woman, hahaha
Don't you have a Discord or some kind of chat community where you can keep sharing feedback?
