Haru never needed changing, period. He was just a cross-dresser, and people wanted to turn the route into something it wasn't so they could whine about it being "offensive" (it wasn't, unless someone is still mentally a child). I still think you should have ignored them and stuck to your guns, but I'm not the writer, so... /shrug

Big wall of a comment ahead, haha...

Do not worry, utlimately I am rewriting his route for myself. Though I won't lie, it wasn't the case at first as those hatred comments did make me wonder if I was a bad person for writing it clumsily without knowing it.

But after a good amount of thinking and some years later, I did realize that people wanted to make offensive something I genuinely wrote with sincere love and from a good -albeit probably a bit naive too- place, and I couldn't stand by that anymore. I still want to rewrite Haru because now I have a clearer vision of what I want for him, but rest assured he will still be the Haru we know, still a cross dresser and still written with sincerity. The difference now is that I have matured enough to not let people distord the reality of what I know by heart ♡

If someone need to accuse me of something false, I will gladly hear them out and calmly talk with them first, then explain what I really wanted to tell through my stories. And if they still don't want to hear what I have to say, well unfortunately that is not my problem anymore as I won't have the time nor energy to deal with tone deaf and probably very bored individuals.
I will accept their opinion, not their claims.

I get what you're saying, but I'll just reiterate for whoever else may read this: even if the route was "naive" or not, what ever people feel is their own problem, and not the responsibly of the writer, full stop. Too many people want to make their own issues everyone else's burden and think the world owes them attention, when feelings are intrinsic—you can choose to feel them or not, and no one can force you to do so. No one owes you anything.

Anyway, that's my mini rant done. I hope you'll continue to make what you want, and ignore the extremely vocal and obnoxious minority of weirdos who think everything is a battle for them to fight.

(As an aside, the ones whining about Haru being trans even though he never was, or "baiting", are also the same people who love drag, but acknowledge it's just cross-dressing... I'm sorry, but these people are just plain stupid. They really can't seen the hypocrisy...)

All I can say si yay~ Femboy supremacy! :3
