Hello, I have no experience writing code, and I first tried Godot five days ago.

I worked through the official Godot tutorials and gained a vague understanding of concepts like code, nodes, and signals.

(Even so, I still can’t write code on my own.)

That’s when I learned about URST and decided to purchase it.

So far, it’s been a lot of fun—it’s easy and understandable, and I’ve been able to edit weapons and enemy characters smoothly.

(I also like that the sample level is a fully playable classic FPS game.)

In the past, I’ve done some simple modding for DOOM and Half-Life (map creation and reskins).

I dabbled in Unity once and tried my hand at a few FPS templates, but I eventually gave up because it required coding and complex AI assets for enemy characters.

The only time I managed to create something that could be called a game was when I tried Easy FPS Editor.

I have high hopes that URST will offer an experience similar to that—and even better.

I’m rooting for URST’s continued development.

My requests at this point are as follows:

- When you shoot a single enemy from a group that hasn’t noticed you yet,

the surrounding enemies also go on high alert.

(I loved that moment of tension in DOOM.)

Helloooo! Thank you so much! This is so good to hear and honestly means a lot to me. 🙌

Everyone should be able to make the game their love without spending countless days working on the basics. You mentioned that you're a Map designer, this is literally a major aspect of what makes a game unique and so much fun, and it already takes huge time by itself.

Again I appreciate these kinds words, and will do my best to keep updating URST to make it more advanced and suitable for the majority of designers and coders as well.

Your suggestion is already on my list, a simple "Can Hear" checkbox to let the enemy be able to hear the player footsteps and gunshots. It's a must for game with stealth levels 👍
