I was folding and fiddling with the printout before reading and was ready to comment on it here, but: what a strange, beautiful, ingame/outgame mechanic!
I like the story, the execution and resolution.
One does expect that evil necromancer fight or the unresting souls tearing into the group, but this is sugar!
